"Great hotel"

"The room we were booked into were not entirely clean. There were some minor stains on sheet and the odour was some of the strongest we have experienced. When we came in, it was like a strong varnish smell and upon opening one of the cupboards, a big walf of food-gone-bad odour quickly filled the room. Luckily the hotel reception quickly solved the problem and offered us another studio room in the building next door. The facility is okay but the building is aged. Bed was basic, for a short stay near stations this will be okay. But cleanliness could be better (or simply air the room out if guests have been cooking and storing food in a small space)."

"Room was noisy and very light all night, there was no ability to shut off the bathroom and no blinds in the bathroom to keep out the light and noise."

"Amazing location! Literally sleeping next to the Theatre in Piccadilly!!! 😊. We booked the hotel to watch Les Mis which was absolutely incredible if you are thinking about a theatre trip. Easy check in. There was staff there to help with any hiccups. Friendly staff. Clean entrance with a few seats to charge phones etc. There was a really nice gym, not sure if you had to pay extra. Cafe area and more seating and work areas. Heads up, bag storage is £15 per suitcase and early check in £ 40. Room was super clean and very simple. No hairdryers or any frills but that's fine for what we wanted. Check out easy. Beautiful Japanese restaurant opposite called Shoryu . We had a fab time! "

"It was perfect, but a little bit noisy "

"Room was in the basement, very much a labyrinth and a bit claustrophobic to find. I wouldn’t have liked to try and find my way out in an emergency. Clean enough, bathroom pokey. Staff lovely, our booking didn’t include breakfast so I can’t comment on that. Didn’t know where the bar was but went out anyway, so can’t comment on that either. I wear earbuds to sleep so it blocked out any neighbour noise I would have been likely to hear. Was ok and a great location but probably wouldn’t book again."

"Great location close to restaurants, bars and public transport. Front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. There’s a fridge at reception where you can buy water and soft drinks. The room (in a annexe a short walk away) was small but very clean and the shower looked brand new, equipped with fresh, clean white towels and mini bottles of shampoo and shower gel as well as shampoo, shower gel and conditioner within the shower itself. Couldn’t work out the heating so should have asked about that as it was coldish at night. Sadly missed breakfast! Would definitely stay here again as it is very good value for money. "
