"While we enjoyed our stay at the hotel due to the location and staff, the bedding was not comfortable. I believe that the mattress needs to be replaced as it was not comfortable at all."

10/10 Excellent
"The excellent desk staff was helpful and patient. We want especially to commend Lauren, a trainee, Shusha, another woman, and a sturdy man of African origin with rounded features who did not have a name label. Clearly, the hotel manager is training her staff very well. The room was clean, soundproof, and well supplied with what a visitor would need for sleeping, television-watching, a phone, and for cooking and washing up. The room had a bathtub with shower, rubber bathmat, and a laundry-drying cord. We would have welcomed more towel racks. There are good shelves and storage. You can request additional clothes hangers. Most racks and various cupboards are designed for tall people but someone 5 feet tall can manage to use the room. There is a laundry room on the mezzanine floor with efficient washers and dryers; it is accessible with an app or with help from the staff. The lobby has three areas: general welcome and seating, a cosier middle area for conversation and television, and a third area with tables and chairs so you can meet friends there. The location is excellent, close to two Underground stations, plenty of dining options, near food markets, close to bus stops (which are far apart) and to many famous sites and destinations and the restful Embankment gardens. If the room is ever redesigned, try to locate a chair or two (not the present small sofa) so that guests can watch tv from something other than the bed."

"We love the FREE reusable water bottle with filtered water machine for guests in each floor. We used it to tour, and amazing for us because we don’t have to look for store where to buy bottled water. Also, location location location- perfect location in Trafalgar Square. Walking distance to every landmarks like Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey. And local mass transit. It costs us 3 pounds to travel to and from airport direct. Absolutely beautiful building located in absolutely beautiful location with absolutely wonderful friendly helpful staff. We are certainly be going back to that same hotel."

Park Plaza London Riverbank

Park Plaza London Riverbank

8/10 Good
"This will be my go to hotel when visiting London due to the river front location with amazing views and easy access to tube stations/riverside walks. Staff very friendly however we did have an issue with check in and couldn't understand what the problem was (something to do with the fact that the booking confirmation from Hotels.com had my husbands initial rather than full name) I was repeatedly asked for the booking reference which I provided but this didn't appear to be sufficient. I explained that we hadn't received any communication direct from the hotel as I booked through Hotels.com. Upon providing our driving licences the clerk seemed to be satisfied and we were given a complimentary early check in. The room was a good size and was clean however the dark furniture looked dated and worn out and could definitely do with replacing. We were surprised to find that the room did not have any USB charging points and only a couple of spare plug sockets. Reception did not have any USB plugs so we had to buy one to use in the room. Prior to travelling we joined the hotels environmental programme by opting out of daily housekeeping however needed to mention this at check in to claim the complimentary bottle of wine."

"Everything went pretty well overall. Best in mind there is no swimming pool, and the bell desk team lost all of our luggage until I expressed some anger and frustration. Then, magically, they found the luggage somewhere on property bringing us our stuff minus 2 items. By the time it was all sorted out, we easted and hour and almost missed our flight."
