"I’ve traveled to Japan the past few summers and this is my favorite hotel so far. I loved the location-in the middle shopping centers, restaurants, close to Shibuya station, and my favorite anime shops. I travel alone and I felt very safe here. My hotel room was cute, more spacious than what I was expecting. Very clean. I packed light on clothes so it was nice having the yukata provided. I’m glad they had a laundry room on site as I ended up using it three times during my trip. They have a community kitchen and hangout/dining area and workout room. The staff were very nice and helpful. I would really love to stay here again."

"this is about a 10-12 min walk slight uphill from Shibuya station. it's close enough to walk but far enough you're away from the rif raff of the main area. it's on a quiet street with tons of restaurants in walking distance (did not try any). the rooms are good sized. we went for the room that fits three for two of us. the extra cost was worth it for more space. room is super clean and the facility is safe and clean and predictable. the staff is English speaking and very helpful. they offer complimentary coffee per day you're there per guest. they have a water station in the lobby that we took full as advantage of. I would recommend for the cost ratio. just note it's further so you'd have to get used to walking in the humidity sun and rain."
Dormy Inn Premium Shibuya Jingumae Hot Spring

"Excellent value and a very convenient base for Shibuya. The hotel is around a 10-minute walk from Shibuya Station and the famous crossing, with plenty of shops, restaurants and other facilities nearby. Reception staff were helpful throughout. The room was small, as expected in Tokyo, but extremely well designed and planned, so it never felt as cramped as the actual size suggested. The air conditioning was excellent and very welcome during an August stay. A highlight was the complimentary on-site onsen, which was excellent and often surprisingly quiet. The hotel is easy to reach from Narita Airport using the Narita Express to Shibuya. If travelling with luggage, a short taxi ride from the station may be best, although the hotel is walkable. The only thing to be aware of is that Shibuya itself is extremely busy, with queues for many restaurants, and during August I found some shops, malls and restaurants less well air-conditioned than expected. Overall, very good value in an excellent location. I would definitely stay again."
