Dreams Cape Cozumel did not meet expectations. The ac was not cooling, and when it did it sounded like someone had a jackhammer tearing out a wall. The beds are comfortable; HBO was in English. We booked a week stay, and for the first three days we showered with tepid water, far from warm, tolerable to say the least. Maintenance adjusted the water temp, attempted to repair the ac banging. Our group of 10 people couldn't sit together unless we were all at the hostess desk together. It was as if the staff couldn't move a table unless the hotel manager okayed it. I sound dissatisfied, yes highly. This made my 15th time to stay in Cozumel but the first for Dreams. I recommend El Cozumeleno, the other end of the island. It's pretty dated, but I love it

The resort is in a great location along a reef. Ocean swimming and snorkeling are great right from the resort. Unfortunately the old Sunscape Sabor resort that is directly adjacent to the Dreams is under construction and it is very noisy. We were very close to the construction and were not notified.
