Large public bath = no one seems to be using it Floors, corridors = old and not maintained Elevator = musty smell Bathroom drain = sewage smell There are problems with the building itself that cannot be addressed even by Japanese management. but, Customer service, cleaning, amenities, safety measures, etc. are met.

Staffs were so well-trained, friendly, and helpful that I stayed there with very good feeling. Duty manager, team leader, staffs, everyone was very nice. 1. Window in the first room I got in had some gap between glass and frame so some noise from outside unit of refrigerator for hotel restaurant was a little disturbing. Then, their action was very quick. They sent an engineer to my room to fix the window problem even though it was at night. Even though he could not solve it perfectly at last, I was amazed by hotel's quick action and his nice attitude. On the second day, Ms. Kathy helped me find the most quiet room from some rooms available on the day by going around with me. 2. When my PC got power problem, male staffs at front desk were smart and found out which part had a problem. Then, they helped me find a cable for PC by telling me which shop to go and the price. Exactly at the shop, I got the one I needed. 3. A female staff at front desk kindly taught me that using taxi would be cheaper than Grab to go to and to come back from Hoian. If those staffs had not been that friendly, I would not have gotten that information. 4. All the staffs including front desk staffs, cleaners, maintenance engineers, and restaurant staffs was saying "Xin Chao (Hello)" to every guest whenever they saw any guest. Nice and cheerful feeling did I get by them. 5. Convenience store is just in front of the hotel. 6. Very easy to get taxi there. Highly recommended.

My room was nicely decorated and had a big TV with BBC World. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection of Asian and Western breakfast foods. I loved the silver dollar pancakes. The only thing that I didn't like was that if you want more coffee, you can't get it yourself from the buffet. You have to ask a waiter or waitress (and sometimes they're busy). A highlight of my stay was being served at the front desk by a staff member named June. She spoke good English and gave me useful tourist information, like which restaurants sell local dishes.

Good hotel and reasonable rate.
This hotel provides better breakfast. A building looks a little bit old, but not bad. The most wonderful thing that I experienced in this hotel is a massage. They offer 30% off for massage programs in the morning. Anyway, we had a great time at this hotel, and my wife is willing to stay again.

Excellent staff providing caring, warmest and sincere services and advises. We enjoyed staying in this hotel very much. The onsen and sauna are so great and clean. We enjoyed it twice a day after swimming. Besides, the location is good and we can have a leisure stroll along the riverside in every evening. Superb!

Service is outstanding here, which is why I am a repeat guest. Ms. Dong. Ms. Uyen and their colleagues go over and above. Pushy and loud Korean tourists cannot ruin an otherwise fantastic experience.

It does mention they have Airport Shuttle, but only to be restricted by a limited timetable. When I tried to book a return trip to airport, we were told to book on the day we were leaving, Yet on the day we were told there is no pre-booking or shuttle itself and suggested we take taxi directly.

Worth a try
It is an older hotel but the service and hospitality of staff made up for it. The free airport shuttle was a big plus. Breakfast was very good. Nice warm pool, free onsen.

Awesome place! Service is wonderful. I love that everyone says hi to their guests. The shuttle idea to their resort near Hoi an is amazing!! Loveee that place its soo nice and beautiful! The pool and japanese spa at the hotel is pretty cool. The only thing was that you can hear everything from the hallway! Either wall is too thin or people were just too loud. But overall i highly recommend!

Fantastic staff in a good hotel, central location
We had a most fantastic stay at the Grandvrio hotel. We stayed for 5 nights while we explored Da Nang and were extremely happy through out. It started with a friendly and efficient check in (amazing staff) and then we had an ideal bedroom on 4th floor with a very comfy bed and pillows (I’m very fussy about a good mattress and this ticked my boxes) Breakfast was good, many Asian choices but the hotel caters for many Korean tourists so that is to be expected but I was happy with egg station each day. A tip though is to go for breakfast later (after 9am) when the restaurant is calm and a relaxing place to be ..... not so at 7.30am,, Trung the catering manager was yet another great member of staff who loved his job and looked after us very well (making is special Vietnamese coffee each morning) I used the free Japanese bath and sauna and was luckily enlightened o have it to myself. The management should be very proud of their young but amazing team of staff I would return to this hotel and not look at any others if I return to DaNang

Honest good hotel, strong value for money
Great confortable hotel, the staff especially Dong was very nice and helpful. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean, I had plenty of warm water in the showe.Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of local and continental choises, I liked the fresh fruit on on the spot egg cooking. The pool is nice but small. Very good experience, will book again.

Great hotel, spa and relaxing, poor location.
We checked into Grandvrio city for one night after having to re-arrange our schedule due to an issue with Viet trains (another story). The hotel offered an inclusive spa, onsen and a pool which came as a welcome relief as the previous hotel close to the beach at a similar price had limited facilities and poorly trained staff. Grandvrio lifted our spirits and experience in Da Nang, from the welcome fruit cocktail, polite and helpful staff, to the international cuisine in the large breakfast area. The only downside was the location, in the city with very few amenities close by, the most interesting places (including the beach area) a short taxi ride away. If we ever visit Da Nang again this will be the hotel we will book.

Best Stay
This is one of the best hotels I have lived in. The entire team of people working there are so hospitality and treat you like family. They are always welcoming and do heir best to make ur stay absolutely fabulous. We loved it so much that we stay an extra 2 nights. Once we knew we were vegetarian they went out of their way to make us some local vegetarian Vietnamese food which was yumm. They even help in organising the day trips and give u very good rates for the same. The spa and Japanese bath is really good as well. look forward to going back.

Clean! Convenient location, wonderful staff
The staff is friendly, from the front desk to the maids and maintenance workers. Dung at the front desk was lovely. The hotel is clean as are the rooms. There are many breakfast options and they are well prepared. The location was perfect for our needs. There is a fantastic restaurant, rated one of the best in Danang, 2 blocks away. There are a number of ATM machines around the corner and a mini-market for extra water, snacks forgotten items like nail clippers. Taxis queue in front of the hotel. There are many moderately priced restaurants within walking distance. The water is 2 blocks away.

The staff and amenities in the Hotel are excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is delicious, and the free included onsen was such a nice treat. Felt very pampered. The hotel is on the northern edge of the more busy shopping/eating area, but is overall walkable and accessible. You can walk along the river at night.

Great place in the city center.
We checked out of another hotel that we had booked because it was not clean enough. This was a very last minute booking while sitting on the dirty couch of our original hotel. This hotel was a huge upgrade. It was 3 times more expensive than our first hotel, and if you're coming from Saigon/HCMC Da Nang will give you a bit of sticker shock, but we found it to be well worth the cost. I felt sick one of the days and I was so glad to have a clean room, comfortable bed, and helpful staff to get through. In the lobby they have cocktails and juices. They're over priced but convenient. Free scooter parking was a plus since we rented a scooter to go up to the marble mountains. Not too far from the river. Definitely city center so if you're here for a beach vacation this is not your spot. But if you're a city person like me, this puts you right in the middle of the hustle and bustle.

Friendly staff, amazing experience
Our experience was amazing! We stayed two nights here. The staff was helpful and friendly, willing to deal with our concerns and questions. The room is clean and the bed is really spacious. The breakfast was excellent as well. The only disadvantage is that it is a little bit remote from the heart of the city but overall it deserves such excellent reviews.

Decent stay
+ Good breakfast spread (definitely catered to the Korean tour groups that frequent this establishment) + Large rooms with tall ceiling - Bad soundproofing, hotel was filled with Korean tour groups while we were staying for a work trip, so while they were up late having loud conversations in the corridor because they don’t actually have to work the next morning we did. - Toilet bowl had blood in it when we returned for our second night... not sure why.... toilet smelled bad.

Delightful hotel in Da Nang
Beautiful hotel . Delightful staff particularly Dung who was so friendly & interested in what we did . Both Dung & Chung are such a great asset to this hotel in their friendliness & efficiency. Excellent breakfast with exceptionally friendly & helpful dining room staff . Japenese restaurant next door first class for food but wine too expensive! We have never been as well treated as we were in this hotel. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough .

our stay at the Grandvrio in Danang
Overall an ok 3-star hotel. However, we were put in the Asian/Korean section (probably because we are Vietnamese) and we had to eat Korean type of food for breakfast for 3 days. Furthermore, the shower/Bathtub is badly designed as when and after we take the shower, the water is everywhere on the floor. This seems to be typical of the Vietnamese hotel shower/bathroom design but nonetheless, it is disturbing to have a wet bathroom floor in this hotel.
