"Riverside Arashiyama was a wonderful stay! The hotel and staff there were extremely generous and always helped with whatever we needed. Also, the rooms are extremely spacious which helps when you have lots of luggage. I would stay here again!"

"Great location, good services, cleanness"

"Super clean. Convinient. Metro system very clouse"

"Very nice place to stay!"

"Clean, quiet, centrally located in a hip, walkable area of Kyoto close to the train station."

"Great staff! They spoke enough English that we were able to pay for late check-out in person in cash(yen). But overall the tablet check-in was easy and the room was amazing! 10/10 would stay again. The room was spacious with 4 beds, and a community area, washer/dryer, and a large tub compared to APA hotels with no space.."

"Liked having washing machine, but I can read Japanese. Appliances (bath tub, air con, washer) might prove baffling if you can't read Japanese"

"Great city view from the balcony. Kitchen was well stocked-we cooked 2 dinners in it. Location was nice, in a neighborhood away from the downtown. Owner is great and very helpful. It was nice to have all the space after traveling for several weeks. Very homey."

"The staff communicated in excellent English in our email conversations, the check in process consisted of an email telling me the lock box code for the key box, and the building and room looked exactly as pictured. The room was clean, well kept, and comfortable. "Very good hotel overall, top tier for the price"

"Great room and greatly enjoyed there!"

"Amazing location however it is quite noisy at night. Host provides earplugs :)"

"Great staff and location. Highly recommend"

"Very easy to check in and great walking distance to Universal Studios if you like to walk. "

"It was very relaxed and the beds were comfy. Great if your just looking for a room to crash in while you sightsee and also decent price"

"This place is incredibly nice. You will not be disappointed staying here, I promise. It’s in a perfect area as well. "

"Very clean. Very convenient. Love it."
