"We booked a family suite and thoroughly enjoyed the royalty club perks. The cocktails and food was especially pampering. Would like to praise staff - Puvan (staff who was cleaning), Kawalan and staff who was on duty on 11 Feb noon at the carpark gantry. They were especially courteous and helpful. They attempted to offer useful information on top of what we requested, even though their command of English was limited. They replied with a gesture (hand on their chest) when they wanted to convey...

"Really liked the bedrooms and access to the beach. Staff were friendly although not always able to accommodate requests as the hotel was so busy. The hotel was super busy over the holiday weekend and there simply are not enough facilities to accommodate. Breakfast areas were overflowing. No where to sit. Evening dining also overflowing and reservations not available until beyond 9:30pm. Staff very overwhelmed and quality of food poor. Pool area too small for number of guests. Rooms very noisy -...

"The rooms are quite old but spacious, layout in chalet, acceptable for price we paid for. Have a number of choices of food nearby, lot of activities such as paint ball, mini golf, water playground, etc. My family enjoy the stay overall."

"We had no idea what to expect as we booked last minute without doing any research nor looking at pictures. Also the name, One & Only Desaru, is somewhat non-descript, it doesn't evoke much... This is a 5-star resort, an oasis secluded from the world, large luxurious villas, private beaches and all -- and also, I guess, from paparazzis! That kind of a place. Top, top, top. Will return for sure."

"Good for short getaway. Room is spacious and the bed is comfy. Best thing about this hotel that all rooms have both sea and pool view. Swimming pool is big enough. Breakfast should be improved as it have same menu two days in a row during my stay and my last visit last year."
