"The hotel is in a great location. The rooms were really nice. The staff was great. There was construction in the lobby that was affecting being able to enjoy the lobby. I was charged for a full breakfast when the breakfast was not being offered to its fullest capacity due to construction. It made me feel like customer service was lacking and I never sought breakfast at the hotel again. Other than the construction issues and mediocre service during that time the hotel is lovely. "

"Hotel was in a great location, close to transport and a walk to Darling Harbour. Rooms were nice thought the sofa was very worn and the TV channels didn’t change easily. Beds were comfy and had nice bathroom with lovely amenities. We had a La carte breakfast on our morning in their restaurant and the service was average as they were understaffed. The pancakes were terrible and coffee not great. We didn’t eat there again. Overall it was a good stay and value for money."

"Having stayed at a number of hotels near or adjacent to airports, Rydges is one of the better ones. The rooms are comfortable and clean and there are places to eat and drink on site. However, the number one attribute for me is its proximity to the airport's departure terminal, a 2 minute walk from the hotel lobby. I definitely would stay there anytime I need to catch an early morning flight out of Sydney."

"While the staff were lovely and the room was nice we waited 3 hours for a second bathrobe and had to call 4 times. There was also an opened bottle of sparkling water in the mini bar. The carpet in the hallway was dirty and needed a vacuum. For a hotel that costs a lot to stay in, those details are a bit of a letdown. "
