"Location of hotel is wonderful Our room overlooked Kensington Gardens. The room was spacious though simple. We loved that the bathroom had a usable tub with really hot water. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. I loved that you could choose not to have room cleaning every day, and they would give a 7 pound voucher at the restaurant each day you declined cleaning. We were always out so appreciated the trade off because we weren’t messy. Short walk to tube and really safe area. "

"The hotel is ideally located for ready access to Paddington station and within easy walking distance to Hyde park. The hotel is good for the price other than being a little dated and tired in places.Our room was compact but clean. The breakfast was adequate but not impressive some of the cooked food was cold and there was no choice of alternative milks. However the staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall all we stayed one night at this hotel which suited our needs perfectly."

"there was a gum stain on the ground of our room, our room was quite hot (the ac did not work), and the room had run out of soap before we got there. however the staff were incredibly kind, and the general vibe was good. thank you!"

"I want to share my honest experience with this stay and with Expedia’s support. Right after booking, I received an email saying the hotel was under renovation and that I had only four hours to cancel. Since I booked just one day before my trip, I immediately contacted Expedia support to cancel. However, until the day I arrived, Expedia kept telling me the hotel refused the cancellation. When I arrived, the hotel staff said no one from Expedia had actually contacted them, which shows there was a serious miscommunication. I contacted Expedia support three or four times and spoke with different agents. Each time I had to explain everything again from the beginning. I’ve used Expedia for years, but this time the support was very disappointing. The hotel itself was under renovation and nearby buildings were also under construction, so there was constant noise. The room was extremely small, almost like a closet, with a tiny window. Even after reaching your floor, you still have to go up and down several small staircases, which makes moving luggage very difficult. There was also no phone in the room to contact reception, so you must go downstairs if you need help. Overall, the lack of transparency about renovations and how this situation was handled made the experience very disappointing. I hope this case is reviewed properly and handled fairly."
