"The only issue was our confirmation stated room 5 & after numerous tries it would not open the door we called the number provided and our room was actually room 4. The hotel had a breakfast made up for us as we had to leave very early which was thoughtful."

"Beautifully maintained old palazzo in a good location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Valletta is quite small and thus incredibly walkable. Nothing is more than a few minutes away. Would stay again. If accessibility is a concern, the Layla penthouse may not be the best choice as there are a few stairs particularly between the two terraces and down to the bathroom (which does not have a door so that may not suit everyone). It does face the street where there are bars/restaurants that stay open...

"Cathy is an amazing host who has made the stay very enjoyable, we were sad to leave and wished we had booked the rest of our trip at the Stonehouse instead of moving around. The accommodation was very well decorated with some nice authentic touches. The accommodation is in a very good location - tucked away in a quiet road yet within a minutes walk to a very bustling scene, great for food, drinks, getting around etc. Next time we visit Malta we will book our entire stay here - hoping to meet...
