Hotels with smoking rooms in Genting Sempah

We were looking for something in the area, and most places listed were like those in the overly commercialised and hyped Genting Highlands resort. But The Chateau was something in another league - for those who want the scenery and the serentiy that you would hope to find in the mountains, well away from the crowds and casinos. Its a great new apartment. Thanks to the mgmt, they gave me a splendid apartment facing KL. On a clear night, the view to KL is spectacular

Room was cleaned and ambients was great. Only thing was price was slightly higher, limited food options at the mall. Could attract more guest if price was more adjusted for sure because no it was a residence with no room service. Enjoy the stay nevertheless

Quiet resort

It was a good experience.

Aircon was nice and cold. Good buffet spread and friendly staff. Only gripe was that rooms are a little small and the shower area can get slippery.

Excellent staffs.. Excellent Service! We were greeted with fresh & enthusiastic staffs! A big thumbs up to The bell captains, security staffs 👍 Mosaic restaurant staffs very efficient & helpful.. (Reza). Buffet breakfast - wide spread. Checkin & out has no issue. Front desk staff Nik was excellent. Rooms are fully equipped & comfortable beds! Housekeeper Ros has kept the room tidy & clean at all time! But it would be better if the toilets door could be latched & comes with shower curtain....

Apartments was spacious and clean. The place was very convenient and easy access to metro stations and shopping mall. Some coach from to/from Singapore also departing at the lalaport

Even is old hotel but still keep high quality and 5star service.

Our stay as a family of 3 was excellent. The options given to choose the bed type wasn’t sufficient when we had chosen 2 adults & 1 child below 12. End up, my wife and I squeezed into one double bed, and child on the other. The bed and pillow were comfortable. However to win the public over, it will always be nice to have one soft & one firm pillow per bed. There is no mirror inside the room other than inside the toilet. The property is located in a brand-new skyscraper that is yet to be completed and launched. It is very, very quiet (felt like I was the only person in the entire building). Facilities work fine and are brand new. Reception staff also good. Biggest drawback: Jewel Oxley is not yet in any ride or delivery app, so couriers and drivers deliver to building next door or wait for you somewhere completely different. Overall good stay.
