I liked this resort! Under ten minute walk to the harbour. Cute eclectic/funky decor. Cool outdoor bath/shower. Great pool/lounge area. Friendly staff. Our included breakfast portions were very small and took about an hour to arrive would be my only negative.

Magical.... truley magical.
Staff lovely, food is good and they have excellent coffee. Live music on fri and Saturday was unreal. Rooms comfortable, water hot, what else cab you ask for???? It's just pure magic!

Meh - ok but not great value for money
Like other reviews have said, this place is pretty dated and doesn't have that Bali-designed vibe that newer places on the island do. It was clean and the room was huge but I wouldn't bother staying here again. They charge 50k a day for bikes rather than 25k at other places, when really they should be free given the cost of the room. WiFi worked as well it does anywhere else on the island.

It was really basic, not as unique looking as the pictures made it out to be. A/C didn't work great but it was better than nothing. Breakfast was really basic. Not great value for the price we paid, but it was a place to stay.

Service personnel is absolutely great and nice. The resort though is weird and old. Additionally I would say it isn't in a nice area in Gili either. Wouldn't stay here again.

The whole resort has a chilled feeling with lots of cool buildings and facilities. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable and we loved having a private enclosed front garden and a half-outdoors bathroom out the back. The pool is very good with varied depths. What stands out is the staff’s manners, attention to detail and helpfulness; they were all lovely! We enjoyed our breakfasts in the morning and the bar itself was nice, especially having a dedicated beachfront area for eating and relaxing on loungers.

Nice comfortable hang
Nice hang, especially the pool. Location on the beach is nice as well. Decent restaurant, esp bfast included. Room were a tad outdated, but very comfortable anyway. Take a horsecart from the dock if you have luggage- it's a bit of a walk dragging/carrying bags. Great helpful staff!

Quirky, calm and comfortable
Stayed at this hotel while spending 3 days at Gili Air. It's an eco friendly hotel with comfortable rooms, friendlt staff and a calm atmosphere. The room was clean, with an outdoor private bathroom (which was actually fun) and decent air con. Would definitely stay here again

Location was good; not too far of a walk to go snorkeling. We had a garden suite; they have concrete floors. Shower was outside but is in a covered area. Bikes are not in particularly in good condition.

The room we stayed in was nice but dated, the staff was polite and helping. The bathroom is in the open which is no issue during the day time but at night time there were some mosquitoes. They definitely need to work a more on cleanliness, the towels looked dirty and stained as if some one else had used it and the hotel staff just dried it, sprayed it with some perfume and put it back. Every single bath towel we got was dirty and one of it had a long woman’s hair stuck to it. The toilet was also probably leaking as there was a smell of piss every time we went near it and another issue was the little slope under the shower which I believe was created with the intention of letting the water drained but it’s hazardous, my wife mistakenly stepped on that slope while taking a shower and fell as it was slippery, it’s hard to avoid so be very cautious around it. Bed was comfortable but the breakfast need some more options, especially for vegetarians. Location is good as it’s 10 minutes walk to the harbour and quite some place to eat around.

Disappointed to what expected
We had a double room with garden view - garden view is your own small walled courtyard which means the room is set back off that. It was really dark in there & the air con wasn’t amazing. Bed is comfy. The pictures make the place look way more fancier than it is. The grounds aren’t anything special, the pools ok. The breakfast & restaurant are really good. The hotel is also right outside a great snorkelling spot. The shower was cold!! This side of the island has a lot more restaurants & shops so great for that & you can easily get a bike & pedal round the island (except where sand is too soft on the path & you do end up pushing the bike)

Lovely place!
The grounds were really pretty and I lucked out and got a free upgrade to the "deluxe" room. Loved the outdoor shower. It's a 5-7 minute walk from the harbor and the on-site spa was excellent!

Spent 4 nights here. Belair has a spa, a pool, decent food, snorkelling off the hotel beach. Cold Bintangs and good music. The staff were excellent-friendly and helpful. All the ingredients for a good holiday

All was good except for little accident with our daughter who stepped on a sea urchin. Unfortunately not enough information regarding the sea condition around the hotel for us to be more aware and prepared. Fortunately the hotel staffs are very helpful to help her.

Nice Hotel with a disco bed :-)
The Island was fantastic, so quiet, no cars or motorbikes, very relaxed. The hotel was nice and clean, the bed did make me laugh when I saw the green lights underneath :-) The room was a reasonable size and when you take in your own little courtyard, quite good, the courtyard is actually a little drab with the garden but this could be to reduce mosquitoes. Nice pool area and an outside gym. Overall very happy with the stay and would stay again.

The most AMAZING experience
The hotel staff (all of them) were so friendly and kind. Yuri (I think that's how you spell it) and Herman were so helpful to us at check in and check out. It was so comfortable and the location is great for a small stroll to anywhere else on the island. Thank you EVERYONE at Bel Air Resort!! Definitely would go back.

Very friendly and helpful. If there wasn't something we liked they tried to help or change. Staff were always trimming shrubs or cleaning property of some kind. Kept very tidy.

Good location on great island, high quality rooms.
Lovely hotel, large room, comfortable king bed, good range of tv channels, nice cool pool, friendly hard working staff. Location is excellent, half way up the east coast looking over Lombok and not too far from the harbour. There are loads of good bars and restaurants nearby. To be fair Gili Air is so amazing you can't go wrong! Only downside would be shaky wifi (not uncommon anywhere on the island) and an average restaurant (but plenty around to choose). If I came back I'd book again.

Great staff in a good resort
We stayed at the Bel Air for 6 nights during our stay on Gili Air. When we arrived they were doing construction on the waterfront restaurant area. Due to the noise we used it as an excuse to dine at other locations on the island. However when we ate at the resort the food was very good. We enjoyed our breakfasts every morning. The staff working there made our stay enjoyable. The daily towel decorations by Lukman and Azhari brought a smile to my face when I saw them. Herman, Emi and Yudi are just a few of the staff that made our stay wonderful. I just wish I could remember the names of all the other people that provided excellent service to us. The only drawback to this place was the Wifi service. We were unable to get any service while we we were inside our room. BUT even with that issue we extended our 3 day stay to 6 days!!

Good location and value
No major complaints with bel air. Staff was friendly. Great location and value for price Cons: they have s lot of birds around that the feed. I don't like birds personally and they were there all day making noise and jumping everywhere. Had to basically avoid the pool. The breakfast was also really mediocre

A very pleasant place to stay
Bel Air Spa Is a very good hotel And nice place to stay ..where I felt very comfortable . Go for the luxury room (and not the standard too basic) and you will have a wonderful time : the bed is big, very comfortable, the room spacious and with an extra bonus you will have a colorful light under your bed if you want and this makes the room even warmer .. Private garden is also a bonus and shower ( semi open) makes this experience really unique and pleasant .. Swimming pool, spa, restaurant are also in the hotel .. Highly recommend this hotel .. Good value for money ..

Pas d’eau chaude, pas de moustiquaire (alors que l’endroit est rempli de moustiques), pas trop de wifi dans la chambre, douche pas très propre et pas de savon pour les mains. Prestation décevante par rapport au prix. L’hôtel est cependant idéalement situé.

Das Standard Zimmer wird täglich gereinigt und nass gewischt. Es ist gut ausgestattet (Minibar, TV, AC). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Zu empfehlen ist die Schnörchel-Tour, die angeboten wird, an der man mit dem Boot zu verschiedenen Orten mit vielen Korallen, Fischen und ein paar Schildkröten gefahren wird.
