"Not what i expected. "

"Room smelled like cigarette smoke, in disrepair, did not feel clean. Very noisy and couldn’t sleep for entire stay"

"No a/c. Everything else was perfect, but the lack of a/c was an issue. I couldn't get that good hotel sleep because it was so hot and uncomfortable in my room. Even the lobby was hot. It just made no sense. Out of 5 stars, I'd give the place 2 out of 5 simply due to no a/c. I took cold showers multiple times. I just hated it. "

"Location is fantastic, steps from Penn Station. Hotel is historic and very grand in the lobby, but the rooms are a little run down, but clean. The staff is super kind and helpful. They let us check in early and check out a little late. Would definitely stay there again. Starbucks is across the street, Liberty Bagels is around the corner. "

"2 elevators for the hotel. If you are on a mid or lower floor, by the time the elevator gets to you it will be full. We were here during Christmas and the had 2 people at the front desk but generally only 1 person was assisting with check-in. So another long wait. If you stay here, just expect to wait for things. "
