"An old building with some of its history displayed around the complex. The rooms are a good size with a comfortable bed, good shower, small bar fridge, and a filtered water tap. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Short walk from the ferry terminal and to main areas of old Georgetown."

"Excellent hotel in a historic building. Amenities are great and a bit quirky (see how they bring the luggage to the upstairs rooms). Staff is very nice. The Italian hotel on premise is Michelin listed."

The staff were warm, friendly and helpful. In particular, Kumar who was manning the front of the house and check-in was most accommodating and left an indelible impression on us with his generosity and making the stay most memorable.

Super new and posh, as expected. Everything was premium quality. Wouldn’t recommend for family stay (especially with young children) 2 things can be improved: bathroom door need label, we knocked head on the glass; when we asked for something delivered to the room, the staff came inside the room while we were all in the toilet, that was unpleasant.

If you appreciate the history, literary and literal, of Raffles Hotel in Singapore, and project it to Penang, you're "there" at the Seven Terraces. As One who lived in South East Asia decades ago, this is a "beam me up, Scotty" opportunity for time travel. If you accept the proposition that a single overnight experience is severely limiting, give yourself at last two nights, allowing you to "return" to your accommodations at the Seven Terraces and steep yourself in their comforts, both in the...

Newly establish hotel, pretty room interior design, relaxing infinity pool after a hot day of exploring, staff were polite and friendly, walking distance to Georgetown tourist attractions.

super convenient, located near major sites. Best of all was the service, we were a family of 5, arranged an airport transfer for us, upgraded us to a family suite as it was Mother's Day and my dad's birthday. Accommodated a late check in and late check out request, gave good dining suggestions. And of course, the beautiful heritage mansion. Highly recommended for those going to Penang!

The hotel is conveniently located in the Old town, easy accessible to Unesco Heritage site and street foods. 5 minutes walk to 1st Avenue and Komtar shopping centres. Room is clean and spacious. Staff are friendly and approachable. There are on site Restaurant and Convenient store for your convenience during raining days.
Facilities wise, there are no phone and minibar in the room. If the hotel could improve on this, it would be perfect.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to my...

Convenient location, everything is very new and staff is exceptional. One thing to note for the cleaners is to clean the hidden corners next to the wardrobe- I dropped a piece of clothing and collected all the dust

The location is excellent. Most places walkable. The staff are most attentive to the needs of the guest. We were made to feel like part of of family. Albert in particular went out of the way to make us feel comfortable. Eddy was the consummate host.
A most memorable stay.

We stayed here two nights (23+24 June 2014) while on a round trip in Malaysia. This hotel is pricey compared to the other hotels/B&B in the neighborhood, but its definitely worth the price. The hotel looks like the pictures and has very nice calm over it. Service is great, we didn't had a refrigerator in the room but they just put a mini refrigerator in the room since we had something to celebrate! The afternoon tea is also a thing to experience, we thought this was only a cup of tea, but we...
