This accommodation is extremely run down. The room smelt and had cob webs . The towels were old and extremely thin. I wouldn’t recommend staying at this accommodation

This is a very quirky place.
We stayed in the turret, was spacious and king size bed, bathroom down the stairs but very good shower.
Fridge and tv worked no problems but the night lights clicked on at regular random times, a little bit odd but we just took the bulbs out.
The place is very old and quite rundown but the owners obviously take great pride in the Manor.
Our room was remade for us and cleaned.
We didn't eat in the restaurant as too busy out wine tasting.
Richmond is a great little wine town and we would book again at the Manor.
While the people who run the place are accomodating and pleasant the actual place needs a lot of love. The accommodation badly needs an upgrade and the linen needs to be replaced as it is nearly and in some cases thread bare.
Farm type stay run by very pleasant couple. They were able to upgrade us to a separate self-contained cottage. Very close to charming Richmond and was easy to get into Hobart for Salamanca market. Great value
We stayed in the gypsy van, the sheets on the bed were filthy, curtains ripped, old chairs were to filthy to even sit on, it might be budget accommodation but no need for everything to be so dirty and discusting, would not advise anyone to staying in there, best thing about staying there was leaving the next morning

This was a unique farm with gorgeous aspect, comfortable beds , nice ambience and helpful friendly staff. Perfect for our dogs as well. Very reasonably priced for the service provided. We will definitely stay here on our future trips to Hobart.Thank you Hatchers Richmond Manor

Quirky and the idea is great but it's, tired and needs, a, lot of love
Unique and quirky! This place was lit up with sparkly green when we arrived in the dark, and was like a mysterious castle waiting to be explored. We had apartment 5, which was very spacious and comfortable, looking out over paddocks with horses and sheep. It's not new; it hasn't been noticeably updated, but it was warm and quiet, and had a powerful shower (over a spa!). One of our group said the bed in the seperate bedroom was the most comfortable she's ever slept in.

This is a unique and interesting property. Enjoyed it's architecture and quirky design. Someone had smoked in the cabin we slept in and I found the smell in the curtains and room off-putting, especially when we had to close windows due to the cold. Amazing locality and options
Property is extremely run down no sound deadening between upper and lower floors. Bed linen stained and dirty. Kitchen was open to the outside with no fly wire door and one staff member laying on the floor playing with a dog. Flys and spiders around all windows Even the garden was unruly and messy with rubbish laying around. Maybe covid has had an effect on the buildings but not the lack of maintenance

Hello John the person playing with the dog is our Granddaughter its a shame a 12 year old girl cannot play with her dog without somebody complaining the day you check in we were tiling the walkway near your room no rubbish was anywhere just the thing that is needed for that job now finished. we are on a farm and flies and spiders are part of life in Australia. We do spray and we are at the moment we are painting
My kids loved our stay here. There were sheep, horses, chickens, ducks and birds to see right out our door step. The staff were lovely. I love the look of the Manor it was very cute and the room had everything we needed.

Charming and quirky
This hotel is in a beautiful setting in the outskirts of Richmond . The unit we had was spacious and well appointed . There are extensive gardens and paddocks to wander .
The complex is in need of a refurbishment as it’s sadly showing the need for ongoing maintenance eg painting of units , garden tidy up and overall TLC. The family atmosphere is lovely and staff are friendly .

The gypse caravan was sweet but not what we thought we were getting. we were going to a wedding so needed room to get ready and a shower. the shower was so small we it was very hard to get clean. Water hit the toilet and was too hot or too cold. There was no mirror in the bathroom. I was told it was a gypse van but thought it was just the name of our room not an actual gypse van!! Some might enjoy the experience.
Was an amazing experience. Country life with Clydesdale horses sheep and chooks. The restaurant was on site and a great menu cooked by the owner. Hard to beat

Nice looking place just a little run down. Close to Richmond which is a lovely town
Room was large and comfortable. Great shower and bath. Beds were very comfortable. Staff very friendly. Didn't eat there so can't rate food. Could hear the room next door coming and going and also talking in the evening.
Colin and Jeanette are very personable. Happy to make you feel comfortable and spend time chatting. Was lovely to see Colin go out of his way to spend time with our youngest grandson. A wonderful place to stay!
