"Tommy always makes you feel at home, a great place to stay if you want to experience Kyoto like a local. The guesthouse is minutes away from both metro an JR stations, there are businesses, convenience stores, public baths and everything you need to feel at home."
"A great hotel. It is modern, comfortable, clean, quiet, and in a great location. The service is among the best we have had anywhere, better than hotels that cost twice as much. Every member of the staff that we encountered was amazing. The restaurant and restaurant staff is also terrific. "
"We felt absolutely spoiled here. The room was spacious, spotless, and so comfortable. Easy to find cabs and the bus was just outside giving easy access. Good restaurants within walking distance though not in the thick of things. Definitely recommend."
"Different options available for the hot springs (private and public), clean rooms, good service, and conveniently located 3 mins from a local JR train station. Fantastic relaxation spot with the Japanese ryokan feel that comes wirh modern amenities in a good location."
"Good experience with the Japanese traditional style house, modern combined with zen style, not far with anywhere you want to go, great for a small family."

"Our favorite hotel that we've stayed at in Japan! At this point in our trip, we were used to the smaller room and we made it work with our 2 personal items (backpacks), 2 carry ons, and 2 check in luggages. The front desk staff was very helpful, washing machines were free (there is no dryer but the bathroom becomes a dryer with the features they have), less than 10 min walks to Nijo Station, the bus stop, Family Mart, and the local shopping street down the block (great taiyaki, yakiniku, and tea shop). Highly recommend! If we ever return to Kyoto, we'll definitely rebook here."
"Excellent hotel and staff. Prime location to train station amazing family Mart next door I think we went to family Mart maybe five times a day delicious breakfast buffet. Would definitely stay again"
