"Beware - The lodge is not serving its inclusive breakfast and doesn't compensate for its absence. The housekeeper was charming and efficient but the manager was elusive and hasn't responded to communications. We had just stayed at a guest house a few km to the north where we had a lovely daily breakfasts so unclear why DWWL couldn't provide what we had paid for. Only wish the staff would advise noisy patrons to be cognisant of others by not making noise in the early hours of the morning when some of us are still resting (I struggle to sleep as is). Nothing as annoying as people screaming or talking loud or children crying non-stop at 3am or 4am in the morning. It's unacceptable!"

"This property was located further out than expected due to the traffic going to all the tourist sites like Lions head, Cape of good Hope, etc. But if you are okay with a 30-40 Uber/Taxi ride then it’s an excellent place to stay. The staff was amazing, and even while they were short staffed they did an amazing job. I upgraded to Studio 3 since it was available and was worth every dollar spent. The Mountain View’s, ocean view and the amazing sunsets made it all worth it. This place offers a simple walk onto the beach, a nice relaxing pool area to enjoy, and breakfast every morning along with the option of dinner being cooked upon request. It is located in a very upscale neighborhood, which is very safe to walk/jog around during the morning or evening hours. This property will not disappoint if you are looking for a relaxing time!"
