"This was our second time stay, and we loved everything. The breakfast was excellent, but one foreign stuff member's sleeve was too short and the bottom was undone. The staff were friendly, though a few foreign staff members had difficulty understanding my questions in Japanese. This hotel is excellent, that is why I believe the customers would expect them to speak Japanese language in native level otherwise it will affect the longtime hotel history. I hope the hotel continues its excellent service and professional atmosphere."

"Love the location and the hotel is very well maintained. The most excellent part of this place is their staff - every single one of them who my family and I interacted was professional and kind. I wished they had a mini mart or something on site tho. Also having a few more restaurants on site would be nice since itโs a very remote location. Iโd go back again."

"We enjoyed this hotel during a brief getaway during the summer to escape the Tokyo heat. The hotel is located in a very nice location in old Karuizawa (Kyo-Karuizawa), close to many nice restaurants and little shops, while also being very quite. Rooms are very large and modern, the hotel has its own hot spring (onsen), and high speed internet is free. Very friendly staff and a large and tasty breakfast buffer. We definitely plan to visit again."

"Great place to stay for a visit to Kariuzawa. Next to the train station and they will hold your bags while you explore the town, then pick up your bag and head to the train station. Very helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was one of the best Iโve had in Japan- lots of local, traditional foods cooked from scratch. Such a treat!"
