"The property seems to be recently updated, it is modern, and clean. The amenity is lacking a few things (for example, it tells the guest to wash dishes and put them away but doesn’t provide a clothe to dry them). Also, the instruction isn’t super clear. The instruction reads to leave the key on the table when checking out (that’s what it says literary in English), when in fact you need to lock and put the key in the lockbox as one example. Also the road to access the property is quite narrow...

The kaiseki dinner in your own private adjoining dining room was beautifully presented and delicious. The staff were all very lovely. Highly recommend. "

"The staff are fabulous, very attentive and customer focused. We had an outdoor private bath which was wonderful and highly recommended. Our one complaint is the beds (futon) they were very thin and hard. We did not sleep well. "

This is our second time visiting the Setre Naramachi Hotel as a couple and it’s been nothing short of an absolute delight. The rooms are luxurious and spacious. The location is conveniently next to a station so traveling around Japan was easy to do. We can’t wait to come back! "
