"PROS- Location was great. Close to coffee shops, restaurants, Lotte Department Store, and the Catholic Cathedral. Book a room with the view of the Cathedral. The other side is noisy. CONS- Room is quite small. Outdated. I can imagine my 6'2" brother sitting on the toilet with his knees hitting the shower door. Towels were frayed. No bathroom counter space!!! I couldn't sleep for two nights because the room had too many mosquitoes. My son was bit on his face and hand. I informed the front staff."

"Had a superior double room with a view of the N Seoul Tower from the balcony. The room was spacious which included a full refrigerator, wine cooler, washer & dryer and microwave oven stovetop. The hotel is very convenient if you want to take the airport limo bus which drops you off at Hotel Kukdo where you just have walk a short distance to the hotel. There are construction going around the hotel but you can't hear the noise from your room. If you are interested in walking or running, you have the option of the Cheonggyecheon Stream which is about a block away. Also Gwangjang Market is also short walk away for local food. There are 2 buildings A and B. I traveled with family and they were in the B building and I was in A (not too far). There is a nearby GS25 across the street or Emart which is outside the reception area on 2nd floor for food and drinks. There are also train stops not too far from hotel but most area you can walk in 20 minutes or less. Definitely would stay here again. Even though you have the option to cook, there are no dishes or utensils in the room but you can rent them. Also you need to bring detergent if you plan to use the washer/dryer otherwise they do sell it at the hotel."

"Very quiet rooms-never heard our neighbors which is always a plus for me. Hotel room was clean but curtains were a little dusty which normally wouldn’t be an issue but the rooms were small and the bed was right against the curtains so my allergies acted up. Hotel amenities given are the standard ones plus unexpected ones like pajamas and Korean eye masks. Location is good-close to Namdaemun market and a 15 minute walk to Myeongdong. Very close to the subway. One thing to note is that bathroom is the Asian wet room style if you are unfamiliar. Overall great for a short trip!"

"We stayed at Stanford hotel twice during our time in Korea. We first stayed for 4 nights, left for 5 and then came back for the last 3 nights. The hotel kept our large cases free of charge so we could travel with our small cases. They were so kind about it and made a note when we first checked in so when we checked out the first time, the staff knew exactly what to do. The location of the hotel is fantastic! Close to all the restaurants you could want, the night market and so many other stores. It is just on the edge of the main bustling area (1 block) and with the tall building, it is still quiet when you want some peace after a long day and the crowds. The rooms were comfortable and you had all the facilities to make it the temperature you like. We loved it here and it really felt like home whilst we were there. We would love to return!"

"The location of the hotel cannot be beat! It's close to all the action of Myeongdong but just up the hill enough so that the actual hotel is quiet. It's literally a stone's throw away from one of the largest Olive Young stores. The breakfast is excellent! The breakfast area is up on the 21st floor and has a spectacular view of Seoul. The quality and variety of the food is superb. I had some of the freshest fruits and vegetables each morning. I think the breakfast was one of the best parts of our stay! Comfortable bed, clean bathroom with bidet and heated toilet seat. I would definitely stay again."
