"Great location, many shops and restaurants nearby. Good fitness center, which has full squat racks, barbells and dumbbells. Walking distance to the park, great if you’re visiting during the spring or fall seasons. Room is clean. Love the walk-in shower with glass door fully closed."

"I booked a ‘lovely room’ and ended up with an accessible room which was not ‘lovely’. The sink was below knee height, the mirror was below eye level and it had a stained white curtain instead of a shower cubicle. They refused to change to the room type I paid for as the hotel is full and i had already been in the room. There was nobody to escalate it to and IHG said Ruby hotels deal with their own issues which I didn’t understand. Therefore I had no option but to accept it in the end and change rooms the next day. The attitude of the staff was as if it was not their problem and that it was normal in London as ‘33% of rooms in London are accessible rooms’. As someone who stays in London most weeks I can confirm that is not the case as it has never happened to me before. Trading standards should investigate the scam of selling accessible rooms as standard rooms when there is a clearly separate booking type for accessible rooms. Great that they are available but I don’t want one and should be able to get the room I paid for and certainly from a reputable company like IHG. All in all for over £200 a night it was a very poor experience and I won’t be using this hotel again."

"Originally booked this hotel for the Southampton play off which they were thrown out of. Decided the use the room anyway and enjoy a day out in London. Parking was secure, but arrive early as places are limited. Very close to 2 tube stations, hotel staff were helpful and friendly, the room and common areas all great, and the breakfast good. I would definitely stay again particularly for a Wembley event."

"Our stay was excellent. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The room was spotless and very comfy. We booked last minute due to being let down elsewhere and it was lovely to walk into this hotel and relax. The breakfast was very good and very welcomed. It was very quiet and we slept well."

"I wasn't satisfied with my stay at the 261 hotel. The hotel didn't smell good and the room took. The bedsheets,the pillows and the blanket were provided were not clean . There was no feeling of freshness. The staff was friendly and kind, The location was good. The value for money not good because In this price I found better accomodation."
