"I stayed at the Thistle on a layover at Heathrow. It was a quick and enjoyable pod ride to the hotel and the automatic check in was very efficient. Managed to check into my room within less than an hour from touching down. The room is the standard English hotel room, the bed is comfortable, and everything I needed was there. I would have liked to get something at the restaurant but found myself falling asleep right away! Great place to stay on a layover from Heathrow. I would definitely go again."

"The concierge staff were fabulous. Helped with information on best ways to travel during tube strike and recommendations of restaurants and pubs. The check-in was easy and the young woman at the desk was very polite. Ramsa was very helpful with our breakfast needs. This is our third time staying at the Baileys and we will stay again when visiting London."

"This hotel has an amazing location but it stops there. Beds are extremely uncomfortable. The king bed is just two twin beds sandwiched together with a very uncomfortable seem in the middle. Mattresses are so old that the springs are gone. Hotel is dated and in need of upgrades. Moths flying around the halls and annoying cleaning staff that still knocks when you have do not disturb sign on. I saw a very fast moving insect in my bathroom on the last day. Would not recommend staying here. AC and fridge both very loud. Toilet runs. Not sure how this is even 4 star"
