"Fantastic location and clean hotel. Really enjoyed our stay but didn’t spend too much time in the hotel. The service is polite and the rooms are very functional. It is a little dated but still very clean and with everything you need. There was some building work taking place but we didn’t really notice any noise or disruption. Overall a great place to explore Matsumoto. We booked room only so didn’t try the breakfast."

"The staff was incredibly kind, giving us detailed directions into Matsumoto and even going out of their way to drop us off at a more convenient train station! The property is tucked up in the mountains, and it was magical to gaze at the magnificent view while soaking in the rotemburo (outdoor bath). This is a special place, that makes you feel like part of their family. The food was exceptional and a true kaiseki experience!"
