I stayed at this property as I had a funeral in Oxford. The property was clean and tidy. My only 3 issues were that they mentioned on the site that check-in was up to 2200 hours, so I rushed from London to get there for 9.30pm to ensure that I could get in. However, on arrival I was advised over the phone that the key to my room was in a safe box by the front door, if I was advised this initially then I could have taken my time to arrive rather than rushing. Secondly, the heating went off in the middle of the night and it was quite cold during the night. Thirdly, the shower unit was quite small, I am not a large person, but I found myself hitting myself on the door when trying to turn in the shower. Lastly, I had to leave quite early in the morning and found that, there was no one around to ask for an iron, so had to amend what I was wearing to ensure that I was still dressed smart but not wearing clothes that needed ironing. Apart from all of the above, I would still stay here again as, as mentioned, it was clean, the proprietor on the phone was friendly and there weren’t any major issues.
