Seriously fantastic place to stay in Perth. Whoever runs this place really cares that that guests have a great stay. Spotlessly clean, lovely little friendly and amusing touches everywhere. Nothing is too much trouble…perfect frankly. Everyone involved should be proud.

Great location with easy (pre-booked) parking. The roads in and out of the area are good. It is a quick drive to the city and the southern suburbs. There are lots of good restaurants and cafes within 200m. The walk along the foreshore is just down the street.

I booked through wotif, i then received a call from the hotel saying that my booking hadn't been received and that the hotel was full. This was worrying due to the short notice of the booking. It was suggested that i call wotif to work it out, i declined and suggested that the staff member do that. He did and called me back to confirm my room was reserved. Prior to arrival, i received a call from Sharon (i think), she confirmed that the room was ready, we checked in early. She was so polite and professional and is a credit to Quest, South Perth. Having owned and ran a business, i would consider her an attribute and her professional approach and dealing on arrival, was refreshing.

I wouldn’t stay there again. As soon as we left the lift there was an awful smell, can’t really describe it, but it was even worse when we entered our room. There was a really overpowering smell of mould, and looking back we should have asked for a different room. Other than that everything was clean and the amenities were great, but all that was spoilt by the smell. No access to let fresh air into the room, and had to run the air-conditioner all night to try to get some other air into the room. Not enjoyable.

A really well-appointed suite, some access to fresh air would have been an improvement. There were smokers in a nearby unit which we didn't feel was actioned as quickly as we would have liked but otherwise the concierge staff were excellent and friendly.

5 Day City Getaway by the Swan
Very friendly and helpful staff at Reception. Housekeeping staff were able to accommodate our schedule really well. We got the high floor we requested, but no balcony unfortunately. Hopefully a balcony room will be available for our next stay in a few months time. Would love to have a bar height table and stools so we could see the river view better as the windows were only half size, not floor to ceiling. Restaurants and grocer a few steps away. Had several great walks along the river. An amount of construction work nearby, but didn't cause us any issues. Level 2 was great for some fresh air. Great property and staff and we really enjoyed our stay.
