Highly recommend!

Roar Inn was a great overall experience for a simple stay in Phuket. The staff were all very helpful and always welcoming us with smiles. Location was a little hard to find, since the ownership seemingly changed hands and the name is new, but nevertheless, the location is great- only about a 7 minute walk to the main street and the beach.

You get what you pay for

This place is located in a fantastic place, near the bus stop, Bangla Road, the shopping area, and is walking distance to everything. However, room was not comfortable. It had no windows, so when I woke up, I did not know if it was 3am or 10am. The bathroom had a smell which the exhaust fan couldn't get rid of. Bed was extremely hard. Rooms are not sound-proof, so can hear other guests coming through the hotel at all hours of the night and the karaoke next door. No elevator, so had to take stairs, which was fine, but the top step of each staircase was steeper than the other steps, so had to remember that time I took the stairs to avoid an accident. At the end of the day, this accommodation is very reasonably priced, so you get what you pay for. However, I wouldn't stay again.

After sorting out some issues the stay was pleasant. Unfortunately Expedia was no help with the issues. The cleaner was a lovely lady. The bathroom was tiny. The hotel needs some upgrading and I would not stay there again.

Vi fik hotellets bedste værelse med 2 vinduer. Værten ( faderen) var meget hjælpsom. Men en god hotel chef bliver han ikke, han gjorde alt for at vi skulle have det godt. Der var ikke mange gæster og nogle blev der der kun 1 nat, på flere værelser var der ikke noget vindue. Der var en fin bar, men de kunne ikke lave drinks Jeg mener ikke I skal bruge hotellet til jeres gæster, vi kommer der. Ikke mere vh lene

Pessimo

Indecente posto. Non lo definirei albergo ma stanze sopra un bar in fondo ad una stradina rumorosa. La camera pessima sporca con puzza di fogna insopportabile. Lenzuola di dubbia pulizia. Il bagno con doccia in mezzo alla stanza con rivolo di acqua fredda era inguardabile e sporco.Terrazzo sporchissimo con calcinacci immondizie e sporcizia ovunque. Nonostante avessimo prenotato 13 notti siamo fuggiti subito e dormito altrove con considerevole spesa. Penso che expedia rovini il suo buon nome proponendo un tale postaccio.

On arrive a 11h du soir le receptionniste qui ne parle que thailandais nous informe qi'il n'a pas de chambre pour nous et qu'il n'a rien reçu de hotel.com, heureusement on a appelé hotel.com ils nous ont logé ailleure.

Couple, first-timers in Phuket

The location is exceptional, less than 10 minutes walk to Patong Beach and Bangla Street. However, I believe it needs upgrading i.e. the television (tv) is still cathode ray tube (CRT) type; analog airconditioning system; no partition between shower and toilet; etc. Though, I like that it has plenty of cabinets and tables. Services need improvement. We reported that the tv in our room is not working, and it was not fixed. Also, we have reserved a locker in the ground floor, which we did not use on our first day. The following day, it was already given to another guest so we have to pick another locker.

A father and son team who own this Hotel also manage it on a daily basis. They are always there and are very friendly and offer to help in everything without any expectations!
