The dinner buffet was very good in quality and spread, thoughtfully planned for international and local guests. The onsen here is one of the cleanest so far. I wish the towels are provided at the onsen baths instead of us carrying ours there. "

Our room had a beautiful lake view, and we were lucky to experience the fireworks show right from the hotel, which made the evening extra special. "The log cabin lodge is run by Sasaki San and his mum. Lovely people. The place was clean and very quiet. All we heard were the birds and great view of the lake. Sunset made the island shine and a rainbow to appear. Since the cabin is surrounded by nature, just keep the insect screens in place when the verandah doors are open and all is good. We took the meal package as it was well rated. It was more than we expected. The steak was surely the highlight - juicy and tender. Best I’ve had so far - local A5. The corn soup was made with just farm bought corn that morning and local milk - the natural sweetness came through with no added sugar. Attention to fresh ingredients is amazing. It was a lovely stay, highly recommended if you want to experience staying in a log cabin. "
