"We wanted to be close to the beach and shopping. Hotel Posada Real is on the beach which is what we wanted. The local market/shopping is about a 10-15 minute walk. The hotel itself is not luxurious but the rooms and restrooms were nice and clean, and it’s in a great location. We didn’t experience any disturbances throughout our trip. We honestly relaxed! They have a buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner for those who don’t want to wander out. The menu changes every day and offers several dishes to choose from. Prices are reasonable and the food is decent. There are also several restaurants at a walking distance to satisfy your taste buds if the buffet isn’t or doesn’t offer what you’re in the mood for. The servers, waiters and staff are very friendly. Shout out to Selerino, Luis & Javier! They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I would also say this is a family friendly hotel. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back soon."

"First let me say the first day was pretty amazing, from check in to the staff. The next day I had several issues. One our bathroom sink faucet handle broke. Trying to get it fixed was like pulling teeth. I believe the simple solution would have been to move us but the manager on duty at front desk declined. Sink was broke for six hours. Three people looked at it and never returned. I called front desk several time and never could speak with a manager, because I was told the line was long. I finally went to counter and was told to be patient and give two more hours. Second problem at dinner I wanted two pieces of fish. The waiter made me wait for a hour in between servings. I questioned him he stated “ It’s a different plate” then he walked off. Mind you this is all inclusive. Not happy about that. Food portions could be larger, but presentation is good. I brought both problems to Brissa’s (concierge)attention and situation was rectified. We were upgraded. Me and my husband felt respected and happy. There were some pretty amazing staff here are a few. Brissa, Gabriel, Cora, Ismael, Caesar,Sergio, Carlos, Urael. Thank you for a great stay and we would return."

"The room was very clean. Unfortunately housekeeping arrived everyday between 4 and 5 when we would arrive back from our day of fun to shower. Twice we waited on the balcony to in order to shower, once they called because they couldn't get in the door and said they needed to come in if we wanted our room clean. I asked for them to wait because we weren't dressed yet and they said they could not wait. I spoke with the front desk and requested for our room to be finished cleaning by 3 pm and they made that happen."

"Delicious breakfast and spotless rooms! Very close walk to the beach (but be aware it's not safe for swimming due to undertow/currents, even though the water looks calm). Easy walk to restaurants and shops. "
