San Mateo SFO Airport Hotel

2.5 star property
6.8 out of 10, (999)
"Terrible! Dialup would be a better option than the “guest” wifi. Very outdated rooms, including the window unit ac/heater directly from the 80’s. The provided breakfast is a joke. It’s a wide selection of TOAST. Hotel does not provide water to drink, even with breakfast. Instead, they kindly point you to the vending machine. To top it all off, you are also charged an additional parking fee of $12...for what?! Get your $’s worth and stay at the holiday inn next door. "

Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites San Mateo-San Francisco SFO by IHG

3.0 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (1008)
"Overall, it was a great experience for my
family
. There was plenty to do in San Francisco, and the location had easy access to the freeway, which made getting around simple. We were very happy with our stay. The only minor complaint was the noise from the suite above us—there were
kids
running and jumping, which could be heard from our room. Other than that, I highly recommend it. It's a nice place to stay."

"Our stay was flawless from start to finish. The customer service agent who checked us in was friendly and professional. He was very respectful of our service dog. We loved the snack shop downstairs. The breakfast manager was extremely friendly and welcoming. The breakfast had great options. We opted to just pay the 9$/kid and us adults just had leftovers from dinner and free coffee because 24/person for adults was more than we wanted since we weren't very hungry. Lastly, when we were a little...

"The area is central to many venues and is tucked away from the main road. The room offers many amenities. However, it takes a long time for the hot water to come up for your shower, the office is poorly staffed and trash is left untouched in the hallways for days at a time."

"Convient location centrally located for access to many things around the hotel. Staff personel was very open and more than friendly to make me feel welcomed and that away from home feeling made my stay that much more comforting. I will recommend to anyone that is looking for a hotel. "

"We we not even sure we had gotten the right room. The beds were not queen size like in the reservation. 1 made a terrible amount of noise when you moved around on it. The cleanliness was questionable. The pool had very limited hours but looked clean. Overall a NO frills place."
