"Lovely hotel, bit out in the sticks but great for a peaceful retreat. Problems entering the room wasn’t dealt with terribly well but eventually we sorted it. We had a steep winding staircase in our room, whilst very pretty, at 83 with an injured leg would have been useful to know in advance. Also no plug sockets at all on the bed level so the alarm had to be set downstairs … and turned off via the rather steep stairs. Lovely place."

There is a bus stop close by to get into the city or most things are a 30-60 minute walk. Irons are not in the rooms but in a designated area or available upon request."

The only thing I wish was there were hooks in both bathrooms (especially the shower) so I could hang my towel and clothes and not have to put them on the floor or the sink.
