"I'm probably the wrong demographic - this was hip, funky or whatever words are used nowadays, but basically an oversized caravan on top of a carpark in Melbourne's CBD. Access through a hole in the wall coffee shop, then up two flights of fire stairs with garishly painted pink walls. Expensive for what it was, but the complimentary mini bar was a nice touch."

WRAP on Southbank

WRAP on Southbank

8/10 Good
"Excellent location for the National Art Gallery, only a 10 minute walk. Also very handy to tram into city, and local restaurants, cafes and supermarkets were just around the corner. A five minute walk to a wonderful French patisserie/cafe. The suite was very spacious, comfortable and the full kitchen and especially the separate bedroom was greatly appreciated. Good double glazing meant the inside was really quiet, and heard nothing from outside the room. However, there were a few issues with housekeeping, (no face washers supplied or hairdryer) no tea & coffee renewed, but these were quickly resolved by reception staff. The lack of a smart TV and streaming services such as Netflix was an unexpected disappointment these days, when even basic motels will offer this. Overall, excellent value for money and in a top spot, would come again."
