Stayed in this hotel over 2 days. Day 1 we arrived and when we arrived there was a bottle of sparking wine with another guests name on it. We checked & the front desk sent someone for the bottle. No turn down service was give for this so called 5 star hotel on day 1. On day 1 we also used the gym facilities. as the outbreak of Covid-19 has made us more aware of things other people have touched, when cleaning the equipment before use the dirt and grim that came of the gym equipment was disgusting. Restaurant/Bar on the top floor. food was nice yet things were tapped and not as warm as expected. Fries were cold and soggy. Day 2.Due to Sydney lockdown at 12pm that day we asked the hotel if we could leave early as nothing would be open in Sydney or the hotel, We were told NO. So we went to breakfast and wow were we disappointed. Again remember this is a so called 5 star hotel. Service at breakfast was disappointing slow. I had the full breakfast and it was mostly left as it was disgusting. The scrabbled eggs had no tease, the bacon was super crispy(I would have expected to me asked how I like my bacon, this is a 5 star hotel after all). sausages were dry and not a nice tease. Best thing was the morning view!!. Checkout day! Breakfast. disappointed.This were cold and missing. when we called we specifically asked for things that were simple and easy as the previous breakfast was so bad, but they missed off 2 or 3 items which made breakfast a poor show. Overall No 5 star Hotel

This is an excellent hotel with well trained friendly staff and fantastic views over the harbour.and opera house the only downside is that it is at the top of a steep hill so its taxis or a hill climb from the trams pr the quayside.

Staying there was great BUT I did pay for parking which is fine but hotel staff damaged our car. You have accepted responsibility BUT apart from an apology no offer to stay for a weekend on the house or at the very least refund the parking fee you charged me. Not sure I’ll be back.

Love the room and beautiful view outside . They allowed us to have early check in, great service and helpful .
