Amazing property and location. This hotel has that old mansion charm, very unique. It’s a big property with a patio bar, pub, restaurant, liquor store. The patio and bar get very busy, so the music and voices might not be for every traveler. Didn’t bother us much, would certainly stay again.

We stayed in the sunrise sweet . Firstly reviews remarked on extremely friendly service checkin etc . I would not say extremely friendly but rather very competent. Room was great just as it’s pictured great size bed and pillows very comfortable. We stayed on a Monday/ Tuesday night, the noise from the hotel itself was minimal however outside street noise is loud .. garbage trucks randoms screaming etc , but it is in the heart of Coogee a vibrant and party area . Shared balcony is large but found privacy an issue with adjoining room . I rely on these reviews myself hence the details that you might not gather from the listing .

We stayed in the sunrise sweet, the views and room were fantastic! Great location, close to the beach, food and shops. The hotel warned us there would be loud music from the bar so we appreciated knowing this in advance as ear plugs were a must. Still worth the view if you can sleep through the music (goes till 2:30am on Saturday).

Great place
We stayed at both of their hotels. This one is a bit noisier. There’s a busy bar/restaurant on the premises & it can be quite noisy. We did get moved to the Boutique Hotel & it was wonderful (we did not move because of the noise). Their customer service was wonderful, although the desk does close over night. We had to call someone in to check in. Overall, I would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay here! The service was amazing and our check-in/check-out experience was smooth. The suite was wonderful and looks exactly what was on the photos. They also fulfilled the request to leave a small birthday card with drinks for two on the house. Thank you so much for making our stay comfortable and memorable!

Quite disappointed with my stay. I arrived late after a long day and the swupe card wouldnt work initially. Had to revisit reception. Finally settled in to do some work and the wi fi would not work. Continually kicked me off. Last thing was the bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable for me. Probably wont be back

THe CBH is in a great location right opposite Coogee Beach. very convenient. Major problem is the noise at night from the bar and loud music thumping until midnight. the rooms are comfortable but they shouldhave gone to the added expense of sound proofing the room with double glazed windows.

Was a great stay, I wasn’t super happy about paying extra for parking, but than thought about it and was a fair option for guests that didn’t have a car that you pay for what you use.

Great location. Seems to have been recently renovated so rooms on good condition. Check in confusing and inevitably some noise from the street and bar downstairs but if you want to be in the centre of Coogee nightlife this is for you

I loved the balcony with the view over Coogee beach. The room was large and and very comfortable. The photo on the wall of Michael Hutchence performing at Selina’s was awesome!

We booked an ocean view room above the pub. Let's start with the positives. The location and the view was great. Now the negatives... They warned us prior to our stay that there may be some noise from the bar below, which is normally not an issue, but the live music that went until 2.30am felt like it was in our room. It was INCREDIBLY loud, the room was shaking. The live music should have been noted in the pre-travel information, this is not general bar noise, or least offer ear plugs to those staying in this room. It was absolutely horrible, we could not and did not sleep and had to leave early the next morning. In addition to the music, there was an outside kitchen situated right outside our window on the same balcony, where they sorted culterly loudly for literally 48 hours. Why could this not be done inside away from booked rooms!? They also stored seveal outside chair cushions in our hotel room, which is unprofessional and took up space. These should have been stored these in an empty room or a storage area. The bathroom was dirty, rusted, and generally not clean. The hotel is a maze and there is no signage to find your way to the reception. Follow the blue line, we found this out after walking around for 20 minutes trying to find someone to ask. I would absolutely not stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone. For the price we paid, which was quite alot, it was absolutely not worth it.

Lovely rooms however incredibly noisy from the bar both inside and across the street with music and shouting late into the night. The fire alarm also went off at 6am during our stay which the staff were less than apologetic for, in fact said they didn’t hear it despite the fire truck coming….

Visiting family and the city to go to vivid so we booked to stay in a Boutique room at Coogee Bay Hotel which was very nice. Lovely room and bed was really comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Worth paying the additional cost for the on site parking as surrounding on street parking is limited
