DO NOT BOOK HERE. Terrible costumer service, lady wasn’t fluent English. They double booked us then tried saying we booked the dates in August, but even if we did (which we did not) we were never contacted or the money was never taken out of my account. Play was very unhelpful and didn’t offer any solutions she tried to make a sale for over $1000^ a night. Do not book here

The Meriton on George St was still being built when I stayed so there were some construction works going on below me. However, they were kept to daytime hours. The amenities and cleanliness of the apartment was wonderful and I enjoyed my stay. The only negative thing was that there were mosquitos in my room as the balcony door had been left open prior to me arriving.

Staff where rude and unprofessional. Walking into my room without knocking demanding me to get up and leave. Meanwhile another staff member did the same thing 1 hour before the second incident and asked if I would like to extend for one more night, my response was yes. The lack of communication with eachother has resulted in the stuff being seen as lazy and unprofessional. The manager was more concerned about what he looked like then anything else and what was more alarming his ego was so far up his back side it was obvious to see. My suggestion is hiring people that want to work and that they can illiterate compassion and problem solving skills. Your stuff think they look cool because of there job title but in all honesty they need to have a good hard look in the mirror and Focus what's on the inside not on the outside.

i really liked the woolies that was located at the address, made getting little groceries really easy. the suite itself was very nice and modern, and parking was very easy, and close to elevators, which helped with luggage. the staff were great, even though the pool was still under renovations they still informed me that we were able to use the church street meriton and their pool amenities. overall it was a great stay and in a good location.

Even though our view was beautiful and staff have been super friendly, it didnt feel like we were staying at a 5 star hotel. This is the first time i stayed at a 5 star that doesn’t offer daily thorough cleaning of rooms. Items such as shampoos etc were not replenished as they should. Other items had to be requested and calling reception or room service was hopeless. If you’re lucky enough they’ll pick up but that doesn’t mean you’ll get the items you requested for asap. We got water only in the first day, no breakfast, no free parking. Definitely not worth the money. Will not be staying here again!

We don't believe this building is ready to be rented out as hotel accommodation...lots of building going on on top floors, car park is a nightmare and so many parking spots taken by building materials, so much building dust in car park So many things missing in the apartment... (No shower cap, no spare soap, no enough coffee, no tea spoons, no dust pan, no service every day, balcony doors locked and unable to open them for fresh air, no dish washing detergent, no ironing board, yes there was an iron, Smart TV unavailable to watch free to air tv... only way to watch tv is to login to your own wi-fi on your phone as TV in living room not connected to antena So extremely disappointed as we have stayed at Meritons apartment lots of time around Sydney... this was our first time at George Street Parramatta and never again.. One positive, supermarket on the ground floor was expensive BUT very convenient

When we checked in our room hadn’t been cleaned .had too go through the check in process twice . The building still isn’t finished Construction works still happening Floors are dirty from construction works The bedrooms were clean but And the rooms were nice

It was overall a great experience. Cheaper than Sydney, but much more comfortable and clean! I highly recommend it for anyone planning to stay for a few days. It's also very close to the river (5 min walk) and you can take the ferry to get to Sydney for only $8. Unless your time is very precious and you don't want to lose a minute, opt for this instead of the crazy expensive options in Sydney!

There was a huge draft coming through most of the building, which resulted in it sounding like there were 33 banshee’s out in the hallways and at our door. Horrid constant screeching and squealing noise. Also ordered a room with a king bed, but arrived to 2 singles. I contacted staff about these things, to which they were very very slack. The elevators are painfully slow. And check-in took atleast half an hour. The pool, spa & sauna are also still not ready to be used.

After spending twenty-odd minutes actually trying to find an unlocked door to the property we finally made our way in unsure where the reception was only to find it on the fourth floor. After traveling 8 hours we were really looking forward to an easy check-in an a shower. After Waiting nearly 15 minutes behind each other to check in we were presented with an utmost untidy presented gentlemen who did not make us feel welcome at all. All most the opposite that we inconvenienced hime for arriving. Merrioton needed to aircon the reception because t his sweat and bo were not nice. The rooms were comfortable but lacked presentation. Tiles on the Balcony were not secure and not grouted. There was tile grout still smeared on the tiles in the bathroom even though the cleaners had been as fresh towels and condiments where in the room, for a Merrioton owned building i thought it was very poor effort on their behalf. I certainly wouldn't recommend a future stay for my self.
