Great property. Below average service
I proposed to my fiancé during this stay. A very special time for us. I did not expect an upgrade but expected a good room in our category. Nothing could be done. Trying pre-arrange a surprise Spa visitor for my partner and then a small group celebration in the bar were not simple. A request for a vase for flowers took 2 reminders and over 3 hours to be addressed. Just another number in your booking system. It was the most impersonal experience - and for the price almost unforgivable. The property is delightful. The service - less than ordinary. The Cartier store and Quay restaurant went out of their way to create a special occasion for us.

This feels like a small Hotel and is nice because it is low rise and i think you feel more connected with the immediate surrounds. It is also located in an amazing spot on the harbour with many activites happening all around you.

OK not great
the hotel is well appointed, but not to the standard to expect for the money. For example went to have a scotch- ordered a single malt on rocks - got a white rye and when asked why i was advised the malt in that brand was out of stock- so i chose a different brand - Mccullun 12year again advised that was out of stock but suggested a 25 year at $265 per shot. i would expect a reasonable range of scotch at fair prices

Hits the mark, and then some.
Brilliant stay and the staff is what made it amazing and as you would expect with a Hyatt the facilities did not disappoint either. We required a room change mid stay (no fault of the hotel) and it was swift and seamless from intial call to concierge to sending someone to assist in the room change.
