The hotel charged me twice for my stay. They refused to take responsibility for it and blamed Expedia. Expedia dealt with it very well and called them on my behalf. After finally admitting that they, the hotel, were at fault they said they would refund me. Still waiting for my refund...

nice location, affordable and large spacious rooms. Room was very dirty though - hair in the shower, years worth of dirt and dust on the windows (inside), cigarette butts on the floor and mould in the shower.

When I got to the room my bed was untidily made. The toilet still had marks in it from not being cleaned after the last use. On day two I came back to find a towel thrown in the balcony even though I had not even opened the balcony door- I presume my dirty towel was thrown there and forgotten? The bathroom needed a good clean, the carpets seemed thick with dust, the lifts and floors smelled musty. While I cannot fault the service and the amenities were quite good, the cleaning needs to really step up.

Room was really dirty. Paint peeling, dust everywhere, windows were filthy. Barely felt comfortable bathing my toddler in the bathtub. Could also smell cigarette smoke from a nearby room.

No spare toilet paper. No hair dryer. Checkin programmed incorrect room number into our swipe card. Checkin entered incorrect rego number into system. Half the heavy curtains were missing hence early wake up call from the Sun. About a 2 star establishment.

Great view of the Sydney Harbour. House keeping was great. Didn’t like that the window couldn’t stay open due to opening mechanism was broken.

No working heater in the room, they had to bring in 3 portable heaters that kept blowing the breakers. Was told there was no other rooms available, however we looked to see and there seemed to be plenty of rooms still available on booking websites. The supervisor made some unprofessional uncalled for comment. Horrible howling noises coming from all the windows some had drafts coming in the room. Terrible place for the price we paid.

The reception staff were really nice but that is where the good things end. Room was so outdated, missing a kettle, tv remotes, lights in bathroom didn’t work and radio beside bed wouldn’t turn off (like built into the dresser so couldn’t even unplug it!). No outlets by the bed either which I thought was strange for these days. Not a great experience

Although quite dated the rooms were of a good size. Close to eating venues and public transport. The carpets in the hallways clearly need replacing, they look quite dirty.
