The unit was lovely and had full kitchen and a washing machine. Close to shopping and light rail.Worst thing was paid onsite parking..very expensive and entry and exit so narrow almost impossible to use without damage to car. Parking spaces very small also.

I found it very difficult to get a park long enough to check in and parking was difficult. Thankfully a very helpful staff member forewarned me that parking was only 1.9m before I came and so I brought the right vehicle. I found it difficult to work out the entry to reception the first time. The balcony door was broken and couldn’t be locked on my room so I worried about security when I was away. The rooms were clean and restocked, (tea etc) and room very comfortable. The location was walking distance to racecourse for function which was helpful.

We found the customer service, particularly of management to be very poor. Be advised that while it says ‘pay at property’, they will charge your card in full (not a hold) 3 days prior. We challenged this as we had intended to pay on another card at check in. We were refunded but it took a lot of follow up and were not refunded the service fee. We also had to cancel our last night with several days notice. We could not get a response from management about this for 2 days and when we finally did, they wanted to charge us more for the reduced nights despite appropriate notice being given. They also lied about trying to contact us and that my husband had agreed to pay more for less nights. This was all very stressful as we were staying with them while I was hospitalised and they had no empathy for this. While we had a great experience with Nathan on the weekend and the accomodation itself was perfect, we certainly left feeling very disappointed in the experience overall.

As a single female traveller I felt very safe staying here. Well positioned for easy travelling into Sydney by Tram or bus. Room was well equipped and very clean. Nearby food shops and plenty of great places to grab a coffee.

Location to the SCG was good. Reception was friendly. Car parking was easy. There is a need for a fluorescent strip on the step between room and balcony as it is hard to see (a potential health hazard).

Great location. Close to public transport and shops. The room was pretty ordinary. Leaking water in bathroom. Bed sheets didn’t fit well. Not enough pillows. Glasses smeared and didn’t look clean. Dirty face washer under sink. Didn’t smell fresh. Bit disappointed for the money paid.

Liked the central location, ideal for busses and Light Rail system into the city. Easy walk to Centennial park. One or two plumbing problems, which were booked for repair, otherwise would have been 5 stars. All staff were brilliant.

I am quite disappointed overall! The hot water in our room ran out on the first shower! It was only like a 10 min shower! The kicker is they don’t even give you a proper doona, just sheets and a blanket! The TVs are outdated With only free to air options. Overall 2/10

The house keeping is terrible , we booked 2 studios , there are cockroaches, washing machine not working, clogs , hinges are rusty, we expected more for a service apartment , this is a total disgrace. It definitely not a 4 stars.

Great location was overshadowed by poor service and delapidated fixtures. The shower leaked, many doors were difficult to open, the lighting was poorly fixed or unsafely plugged in. A family booking for two rooms was provided on 2 different floors with no flexibility to change rooms to the same floor. Parking was very narrow and expensive, and the elevators barely wide enough to fit a pram or wheelchair. Next time we’ll stay somewhere else.

I expected a clean modern mini-apartment delivered in the usual professional manner. I was keen to add a car space to my booking. I phoned for much of the afternoon, including to the chain's central number, but this property could not be contacted, and did not return the call, so I had to park on the street, a long distance from the property. The doors to the room do not automatically lock on the way out. Returning to my room in the middle of the night, there was a problem with the property's front door, and they had hired a very nice young man to stand in the foyer and point people to a way they could enter around the corner. He was there on a long, all night shift, and had no toilet he could use. I had to let him come and use mine! We got the wrong door, which was obviously unlocked because of the earlier problem, and accidentally walked in on someone who had left their door open. I think a lot of people mistakenly leave their door open in this way, which unsafe. The bathroom was too pokey to get around. There was no milk for tea and coffee, and various design flaws.The bedding was comfortable, at least, but enough basic, easily avoidable flaws to make this place disappointing compared to what it advertises.

The property is excellently located.and 2 or 3 years ago would have been lovely to stay in. Unfortunately it hasnt been cleaned properly in that whole time- the carpet and furniture are stained and grimy, and pigeons have taken residence on the balconies making it impossible to open the windows. There are no curtains on the windows which is just odd. Washing machine and dishwasher sound like a jet plane taking off. Overall would be much better if they just gave the place a proper clean!!

Room itself was fine, parking was an issue. Kept getting calls to move our car as a tradesman couldn’t get into his van parked next to us. Very very small spaces. Also balcony was covered in pigeon poo

More then amazing !!!
Couldn't ask for a better place to stay :) The Veriu Randwick was our home away from home for full 10 days. The room we got was everything we needed & more. The staff were all super nice & helpful. Location was great, right near UNSW & all transportation to everywhere. We will stay there again if & when coming back.
