The Standard is a very cool, very clean and wonderfully located hotel. There are hundreds of things to do on your doorstep. Will definitely return"

"Location is the best feature! Very tiny rooms, but made pretty good use of space. Some mold in shower corners and plugs in very inconvenient spots. Recommend for location only, but there may be better options nearby."

"Ideal location, staff are very helpful and friendly. I was on a business trip so the proximity to London Kings Cross/St Pancras was a priority for me. The room was compact but it served its purpose, the only slight disadvantage was being on 2nd floor with no lift. Fine if you are not carrying much luggage but carrying my case up 2 flights of very narrow, quite steep stairs was my only negative"
