It was great! Got the room as pictured. Staff was super nice! Check in was easy, staff did all the work other than inputing my information and check out was even easier! Just dropped the key in an automated kiosk! Prime location near shops and restaurants!

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly, but the only complaint I have is the area around the hotel. There was a lot of night clubs and it was noisy during the night.

Great location with plenty of shopping and food nearby. Higasi-Shinjuku metro is a short walk. Staff were very accommodating. Rooms were small, even by normal APA standards but clean. Confused why safety video told me to put a plastic bag over my head in case of fire.

Overall the hotel was fine for a quick one night stay but I would have regretted staying here longer. It was clean but was a bit far from the train stations (7-10mins walk). Usually a 10mins walk is no big deal but after you have been walking around the city all day it feels exhausting. It is located right in the heart of Shinjuku so would be a great spot if you wanted to stay up late and enjoy the nightlife. While the room was very clean and the staff were friendly the room was very small. We stay in 4 different hotels during our trip in Japan including another one in Tokyo earlier in our trip and this was by far the smallest room out of all of them. And it was noisy at night, we stayed there on a Saturday night so that may have contributed to the extra noise, but we had to turn on white noise to tune out the street sounds. Based on all of this I had to rate it 3 stars even though it was clean.
