Staff was very friendly rooms were clean the view is Tokyo skytree was amazing. Just an FYI if it gets hot in your room you can open the window with a crank they provide you. They usually turn off the A.C if it's cold outside.

I liked the view. I didn’t like our toilet didn’t work. They were fast to clean it but left behind a lot of wet towels. They also opened the door to the sleeping area but bathroom was not in it. They also charged for the pool and work out…$30 per person. View and pool was the only reason I choose this hotel. There was still chips in the chair and under the glass table. No staff speaks English. I never got a new rug as they don’t understand rug. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The Asakusa View has lovely, friendly staff who were always happy to help. Not all of them spoke English confidently, but they were quick to find a colleague if they needed help. The building itself seems mostly focused on hosting functions. Whilst there are eating and gym facilities there, the additional cost didn’t seem worth it. Some of the areas were also closed, like the downstairs restaurant. There’s also no real area to sit down or have coffee outside of the bedrooms. The building is large and rooms were generous sizes (twin rooms, at least) but we found the building to be quite noisy. It has the staple thin walls of an older Japanese hotel and on the windy days it seemed like every window and wall creaked. Location was good - easy connections to Ueno and Akihabara and only 5 minutes walk from Sensoji Temple, one of our main reasons for being in Asakusa.
