Excellent hotel, with fantastic staff. A perfect location, 2mins from the metro, 1min from a 24hr full size supermarket, and close to the main Ueno transport hub/airport access. Rooms are large and well worth the price. Staff will go above and beyond for whatever you need, from recommendations to late check outs.

We had a wonderful stay at Mimaru. Travelling with two young children can be tricky, but the team made it easy from the moment we arrived, welcoming, accommodating and always happy to help. The staff were incredible. A huge thank you to Noora and the whole team for making our stay so special, and to Rina for all of their recommendations, which led us to some of our favourite moments in Tokyo. We had the best time and would happily stay again.

We stayed here four nights in July 2026 and experienced an exceptionally comfortable and convenient stay! Very close to Ueno station so transportation access was easy. Rooms very clean and roomy. Staff were professional, friendly and efficient. Great value for the price. We will return on our next trip to Japan!

We had a perfect stay as part of an overnight transit between international flights. Perfect location and wonderful for children. The staff were excellent and amenities plentiful. Will definitely stay longer next time!

We had an excellent stay at MIMARU Tokyo Ueno Inaricho. We are extremely pleased with this hotel. The staff is amazing and truly goes above and beyond to help. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The hotel is very well located, clean, and comfortable, which made it a great base for exploring Tokyo. Everything was well maintained and thoughtfully organized. We honestly don’t have anything bad to say about our experience. We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

Lovely modern hotel in a convenient location. Short distance from Ueno station or a very short walk to Inaricho station which is on the Ginza line. We had the Japanese room; really clean, roomy, and excellent shower in a wet room. Staff are super friendly and there’s a big selection of items that guests can borrow including rice cooker and toastie machine. Also games for hire at no cost. Would totally stay in this hotel again.

We had an amazing stay at Mimaru Tokyo Ueno Inaricho. Everything was perfect for us as a family of 3. The room was a great size with plenty of space to relax after a long day of walking. The location of the hotel is brilliant. The street that it is located on is quiet, but you are within a 15 minute walk to the heart of Ueno, and it is so well connected, with Ueno station about 10-15 minutes walk and Inaricho station about 5 minutes walk. It really is the perfect base to explore Tokyo. The front desk staff were so helpful and friendly and were always willing to offer recommendations for places to eat and the best ways to get around. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again when we return to Tokyo.
