Just 5 minutes walk from the train station and many restaurants around the hotel.
Room is little outdated.
The hotel will be closing in July. I will miss this hotel.
Overall the staff are nice. Nearby have eatery and convenient stores. Subway station (Kamata) is nearby within 3 mins walk. And the Keikyu Kamata station direct to Airport also nearby about 8 mins walk from hotel.
Stayed 2 nights at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Kamata. Excellent hotel and a great price. Great location close to JR Kamata Station. Many restaurants around. Very modern with kiosk check-in. Room was small but clean and functional. Also great amenities available in lobby. I opted for the breakfast buffet which was a great deal. Many choices that appeal to both Japanese and Western taste. Well worth the price. I will stay here again.
The hotel looks really nice on the outside but the room stunk (cigarette smell and old). The pictures sure looks deceiving. We found some hair in the bathroom and bed and the robes that were provided were dirty. The room is pretty old and you cannot control the temp in your room. Good thing we only stayed there for 1 night. It’s also not as close to haneda airport as the info had said. That being said, the room is a little more spacious compare to some hotels we’ve stayed at. It is close to the train station thought.
