"This is our second stay with the Riu brand resorts in Mexico. Riu Tequila is on the smaller side, which is nice for getting around the resort. The food was not the best (minus breakfast - it was good), but I’m not a huge fan of resort food in general, it all kind of tastes the same. Beach access is within walking distance, or you can wait a couple minutes for a shuttle. There are two other Riu properties you gain pool access to, which was nice. The staff were all really helpful and great to interact with."
