“Great place for Auburn foolball games”
Nice hotel, good location, it was a little noisy because of the football game but that was to be expected.

“Perfect location to use University services”
We lacked hot water on our second visit, probably due to the room location and the fact that there were so few visitors that night. Our first visit was perfect. We'll come back. We were in Auburn to use the University's Veterninary Hospital services and the staff was most accomodating.
“Best price close to the university”
The most important requirement for us was to be near Auburn University. If you want to stay near the university at a reasonable rate, this is the place! The room was clean, but we did find a wrapped coughdrop from a previous guest on the carpet near the bed.
“Closer than I thought”
I was surprised to find that it was closer to the track then the original hotel I was trying to stay at. I do not recommend that you use the mapquest direction. The hotel assistance was wonderful. They were cheerful, helpful, and kind.
“You get what you pay for”
This was my third stay at this hotel. The price is reasonable and the location convenient. There have been some improvements since my last stay but the hotel is old and a little rundown. Staff is nice and continental breakfast is adequate. In room microwave and refrigerator are a plus.
“Good Choice”
Everything was okay. Nothing fancy but comfortable and very reasonably priced. The landscaping was very nice around the pool and maids were very generous with towels for the pool.
“Ok for short stay”
People were very nice and friendly. Rooms were a bit outdated but clean and bright. Pool seemed ok (didn't use it) and looked inviting after a steamy day out. No vending machine, ice on the third floor. No elevator to the third floor. One thing I did not like was the fact that other guests brought their dogs and let them loose without a leash. Not a good thing.
“Just what I needed”
The Lexington has some age to it but the room was clean, everything was functional, and they offere a complimentary hot breakfast. Just what I was looking for.
“Didn't Match Standards as Shown Online”
A hotel advertised as being a convention center should have looked more polished. Because it is also located within a couple of miles of Auburn University, with its varied Colleges, the state of the room suggested students are possibly a major source of revenue. What prompted this thought was the scarred walls and doors suggesting horseplay or drinking behavior. Just a thought. Breakfast was nice and free, but there were limited accommodations for sitting there to eat. Construction workers cordoned off the eating area morning meetings. The absolute best part of the hotel is the wonderful landscaping from the rooms to the hotel breakfast and lobby. It is gorgeous and very well kept. It leads up to and surrounds the pool area, which is quite festive and safely fenced. It truly was the saving grace.
