“Excellent”
Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were attentive without being 'pushy' and their restaurant was good. We only spent one night there, but I would certainly use it again. We had come from a 4Star hotel in Switzerland at twice the price per night, and to be frank the Menzies Strathmore was far better in every aspect.

Second time staying at the hotel & it was as enjoyable as the first time. The food was lovely, I slept well & I did not have to break my exercise routine because they have a gym. I will definetly be staying again.

Lovely, modern hotel. Very close to local amenities. Good restaurant and bar. Only problem was noisy neighbours.

“A bit tired, food excellant”
I was worried about this hotel after I read the tripadvisor comments, but armed with the room numbers that I didn't want, I spoke to reception and they put us in a room overlooking the car park which was a lot less noisy than the ones overlooking the plaza. The hotel decoratively, was rather tired but staff were lovely and the food was really good!! It was in a great position -being in the Arndale centre, which was great for evening shopping! So over all we were very pleasantly surprised, I would definitely stay there again.

the photos do not give a true represintation at all. However food was very very good! As was the location for going into London.
“A bit overpriced but nothing special”
The food in the restaurant wasn't particularly well made and was too expensive on top of the room fees. Staff were friendly but seemed to be running round a lot. And the loud phone was a bit offputting. It was quite cold and no thermostat in the room. Walls are paper-thin, so of you want peace and quiet you need quiet neighbours. We were situated at the end of the corridor and could hear noise from a locked cupboard next to our room. Be prepared to park in the adjacent shopping centre's multistorey carpark at £8 per day too.

“Horrible Hotel in Luton. DO NOT STAY THERE”
Arrived at the hotel at 10 PM and the only food available was baguette of chicken Tika Masala. Had to call for a pizza delivery. The room was clean, but very small and the heating was in the max, making the room very stuffed. Asked for a wake up call for 6 Am, they never called me. Luckly i had my own alarm, otherwise i would have missed the flight. When I checked-in they asked for a guarantee on my credit card for £ 30,00. The next morning on the check-out, when i asked to the authorization to be cancelled, they informed me that i would have to call my credit card company and cancel myself. I was really upset and all that the staff said was: im sorry, but those are the rules. I want to know what rules are those that are never explained to the customer when i arrived? IF YOU CAN...AVOID THIS HOTEL
