“Nice enough but nothing special”

It was difficult to find mainly because the street that it's on changes names where it connects to the main road ... but maps don't tell you that. There is a tiny courtyard that also serves as the parking lot. They squeeze as many cars as possible in this space so if you want to take the car out at any time it's a big puzzle entailing many moves. The staff were all very personable and likeable and the room was fine. Nothing really stood out as being particularly noteworthy however. One oddity was when we asked at the front desk for a local restaurant recommendation and got a stupefied look in return. He struggled to come up with anything and even asked a colleague who likewise wasn't sure about what was in the area. The one single restaurant that they eventually did furnish us with turned out to be a really nice surprise however. Breakfast was the usual continental fare and I could swear the morning front desk clerk was a little unsteady on his feet from the night before. Also, the valet hadn't turned up for work yet so I was asked to move another guest's car and then take mine out and then return the original car. You get what you pay for, I guess.
