“Very good place to stay, personal very treynig.”
Good Hotel, for business or to sort trip, very near of some atrations, good restaurant, good attenders, very quiat.
“Would definately stay here again!”
The location is superb and rivals the expensive hotels for proximity to the centre, 10 minute leisurely walk and you are there. Staff were friendly, helpful and spoke great English too. Had a small problem with the air-con bt was fixed as soon as I reported it, superb value for the excellent standard of hotel.
“Very Good”
The staff at the Hotel will try very hard to please and generally succeed. All the front staff are capable of speaking a little English again enough to help you. The rooms, food, are extremely good. Recommend this hotel.
“Would be my choice for next time”
The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and much more spacious than other hotels I have used. Would recommend as one of the better choices for either leisure or business.
“Service with a smile”
I was a bit put out when the first night was double-booked, but they could not have done more to make up for it on the second night. The room was larger than my flat at home, and the fruit basket by way of apology was very much appreciated. Definitely would go back.
“A central location with helpful staff”
The website describes this as 10 minutes walk from University Square. The real time is closer to 20 minutes walk. I stayed with my wife for four nights. Day time temperatures were in the high thirties centrigrade. Night time temperatures in the twenties centrigrade. Air conditioning worked. Rooms were clean, spacious and well looked after by room service. The visit was part business and part pleasure. I had arranged for potential service providers to meet me at the hotel. The hotel had a lounge area with large table and chairs. These provide a good place to conduct business. The buffet breakfast was included in the room rate. The food was OK. We ate out at restaraunts for all other meals. The reception was always staffed by someone. The staff were always polite and helpful.
“Outstanding breakfast buffet”
The room was very nice and they were very accomodating when the first room smelled of smoke. The buffet breakfast was very good. But there was no paper or fruit basket as advertised on Expedia. During our stay, there was a problem with the pipes which they were working on which made the water brown. The management should have made us aware of this when we returned from touring and should have made the bottled mini bar water complimentary. Instead, I started to fill the tub and found out about the brown water only after getting ready to get in the tub. Also, I had to call down and ask about using the bottled water and had to wait for a reply to find out it was complimentary. Then when I checked out the next morning, I had to reexplain the complimentary water to the clerk at the desk. She argued with me before allowing me to explain or calling a manager.
“A very good hotel and well worthy of 4*.”
A reasonably convenient location, staff polite and courteous, breakfast better than expected. Only downside was the cost of the Internet at 6 euro hour which needs to be factored in and may make alternative hotel options more attractive.
“an ok hotel”
i felt that 4 stars is a bit excessive rating for this hotel, however we had an overall positive experience. the only negatives was low water pressure, some noise from a nearby building undergoing renovation and lack of an iron in the hotel (they could press your laundry though for a ridiculously high amount)
“Very good value”
Friendly staff
