“Nice Downtown Hotel”
The only issue with this Downtown hotel option was the strange musty smell in the hallways and room. I would bring a plug-in air freshener. The room was very clean, so I'm not sure where the smell was coming from. The parking lot was right outside the front door, so very convenient. 4th street bars and restaurants was a block down - good to check out for a night. Downtown Cleveland is very close to several suburbs that also have great shopping and restaurants. The downtown city market is a must see.
“A very good value”
Not the flashiest but a great value when it comes to staying in downtown Cleveland. Very convenient to the House of Blues and very close to all the best restaurants.
“good location”
This was a comfortable hotel. It is right downtown. It is within walking distance to numerous points: Jacobs Field, Browns Stadium, the Basketball Arena, and the place we wanted to go to most, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Downtown Cleveland is in transition. There were some abandoned buildings. Many restaurants were only open for lunch. But close by, there were restaurants near the basketball arena and the baseball field. It was not a very lively place during the week but was jumping on the weekend. The downtown area was very clean and I felt very safe. The House of Blues is almost right across the street with live bands, and a comedy club is nearby. The hotel had one night (Thursday) when they offered free drinks (wine and beer) and snacks in the mezzanine. It wasn't a fancy area but adequate. They also had a varied breakfast, not just cereal and pastries. This is a great location. We never needed a car.
“Great location Great price”
I have stayed there before and will again. It is a great hotel in the perfect location for downtown events and shopping. The room is very large and comfortable.
“Very comfortable and quiet”
I was allowed to check in early. All questions were answered and good directions given to local attractions. It was quiet throughout the day and all night. The check in and out people were very nice. I would stay there again.
“Hotel Stay”
It was a good stay.
“Cleveland's best hotel!”
Friendly and helpful staff. Great continental breakfast. Historic building. Close to the Quicken Loans Arena, many bars and restaurants.
“Loved It!”
The hotel rooms are huge, and the rooms have beautiful floor to ceiling windows! The location is great, and the staff were friendly!
“One of the best!”
The hotel staff was great, they were friendly and very helpful. The room was 10 times nicer than I had expected. I will definately stay there when I am back in Cleveland.
“Our favorite spot!”
We have recommended it in the past. This is convenient to all attractions in downtown Cleveland, within walking distance to all sporting venues, restaurants, museums, shopping and churches. And, we really are treated like the royal family! The staff is great and the historical building is beautiful. We stay here every time!
