“Seaside treasure”

It was so great to drive down a windy road shaded heavily by trees until I reached the little island of Cobh! And to find this lovely hotel right on the ocean front, plenty of parking, great prices on the room. I've heard it's a five minute walk from the train station, if you want to come in by train from Cork. On the down side, there are no lifts, so if you can't climb stairs, be sure to ask for ground floor. My waiter in the restaurant was new and gave VERY bad service. Food in the restaurant was so-so. No wireless internet. In spite of all that, I'd stay again in a heartbeat, even if just to hear the waves on the rocks when I wake up.

“Great little nook”

Nice and quiet, on a tree-lined street. Best of all, a balcony leading out to the sea. Rooms are a little bit shabby but clean. I would definitely stay again. It was very relaxing.

Very clean with most helpful staff. Close to local railway station (less than 5 minutes walk) Riverside setting.

Hotel overall was ok. Wouldnt rush to go back. Facilities average. Menu average. Cant walk anywhere from hotel. Some distance from Cobh.
