El Mexicano Restaurant - Featuring Mexican cuisine with an à la carte menu. Serves dinner from early to late evening. Reservations required. Dress code: Long pants, sleeved shirts, and closed-toe shoes for men; and no shorts or beach sandals for women.
El Italiano Restaurant - Serves Italian cuisine with an à la carte menu. Serves dinner from early to late evening. Reservations required. Dress code: Long pants, sleeved shirts, and closed-toe shoes for men; and no shorts or beach sandals for women. Service exclusively for guests older than age 12.
El Bikini and Marlin Azul Snacks - Open every day, from morning to afternoon, and offer hamburgers, nachos and pizzas.

“Enjoyable and friendly”
Loved the snockling at the beach (beach is small but we knew that going in). Kids club was great (open 10am to 5pm). Pools were lovely (but a little cold). Food was fresh and reasonably healthy (not much to increase your waistline....lots of fruits and veggies/salads). Beds are a little small (would have loved a king sized bed with a queen in the room for the kids or a fold out couch). it was reasonably quiet, not too many people. Marble floors - make sure you wear non-slip shoes! The blue cozumel is going to be our cocktail of choice. Definitely going back. Didn't really try the mexican or italian restaurants. The buffet had a theme each night - the asian was a lot of tame shusi - the tex mex was actually pretty good as was the italian night. we had plenty of hot water.

“Nice hotel, nice people.”
The hotel grounds are lovely. The staff was very nice, check in was FAST. Pools are very nice. The only upgrades I would suggest are softer beds (really, I've slept on worse in other hotels, but they were a bit too firm for our whole group) as well as either an agreement with the neighboring hotels or a pier for boat pick up for divers. The food we ate at the hotel was fine as well.
“Loved It!”
This hotel is very clean. The staff was frendly and helpful. The only things that they could improve on is putting more seating in the lobby areas and the pathways are rock and it is really hard to walk on. By the end of the week my back and knees were killing me. Nothing a good message couldn't take care of. Over all I loved this resort and would love to stay there again.

We had a wonderful experience and I would return but would most likely bring several of my friends since I had such a great time. I think everyone would enjoy it as much as I did.

We went for a long weekend and thorougly enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was good, the hotel and beach area was beautiful. We plan on going back.

“Awesome vacation! Clean hotel with friendly staff!”
We had a great stay at Park Royal! Once you get past the timeshare vultures in the lobby (their shirts say Royal Holiday, not Park Royal) everything is great! All the staff we encountered were so genuinely friendly and really seemed to want us to have a great time. Everywhere was always sparkling clean and well maintained. Great food and lots of brand name liquor choices. There was always a variety at the buffet with extremely prompt service from the waiters. The bartenders were amazing, always remembering who we were and what we drank. The pools were awesome and the Salsa show at night was a blast! Overall we were extremely impressed with the staff and had a wonderful experience! We will definitely go back and recommend this place to our friends!
“good value”
Great place to stay. The only couple complaints I have is you have to get your own drinks it would be nice if there were some servers and never any beach chairs open lots of open deck by ocean with no chairs. This was our third resort in the cozumel/cancun area and was my favorite so far. OH and almost all rooms have two small beds that blows. I would rate it atleast 4 stars.
“Restful week”
We really enjoyed the beach and snorkeling area at the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Buffet food was good, however by the end of our week we were getting tired of it. Preferred the Mexican dinner restaurant over the Italian.
